Excellent value and looks great
Very happy with these little bedside cabinets! OK they're only pine, but their construction is very sturdy and the way they're stained they could easily be mistaken for oak - very nice, pale, neutral colour. I bought two, they come in lots of pieces (basically almost every individual piece of wood) and take a little while to put together properly (at least an hour each for one person), but as long as you're handy with a screwdriver you'll have no issues. Some of the drawer fronts can take a little tweaking to make them line up perfectly, but really not a big issue. The overall build quality is excellent and the finished product is well worth the £34 I paid and the effort to construct. There's also nothing stopping you leaving off some of the metal details (as I've done in the photo) to get a more modern appearance. I'd recommend these to anybody looking for a good value, compact sized piece of bedroom furniture.

Lovely unit but i've never seen so many pieces!!
Well as someone who has assembled an awful lot of flat pack over the years i have to say i have never seen so many pieces for once small unit!!! i bought mine to use as a little lamp unit beside the sofa and it looks lovely. Time consuming to assemble due to the many pieces but worth it. Only thing that stopped it getting 5 stars was that i thought the gaps around the drawers were a little too big despite being correctly put together. Well worth the price though and goes nicely with the other pieces of furniture in my lounge.

I bought one of these from two different sellers
I bought two from one seller and I bought a third from this seller. After building the first one (Seen on the right side of my photograph) from the the other seller I was very very pleased with it. It was a pain assembling it but once done it was awesome. It is very solid. The solidity is stronger because I use wood glue too, but this version did not need glue in my opinion. The second one I got from that other seller I opened up and it was a different size, therefore I threw that one away and ordered the one from this seller. This one was much more difficult to build and this one definitely needs wood glue with the assembly. There is also six plastic parts which need to be put into pre-drilled holes. The instructions did not indicate they need to be screwed in and so I tried hammering them into the hole. I eventually realised to twist them into the holes but by then my neighbour Percy had been woken by the hammering. With the wood glue it is very solid, without the glue it would be a waste of time building it.If you see the first photo of the two finished cabinets, the one on the right of the picture has bigger drawers.ou can tell by the side strips of wood. Also the one on the right in the picture has a completely flat top which I prefer. If my wife wants the flat top then she can have it though. The one on the left of the photo bought from this seller is slightlt taller. I say taller by 1cm.Four black discs are provided to be added to the top of the one sold by this seller but I left them off. Though it is a cm smaller and has bigger drawers, the front fascia at the bottom, the plinth I guess, is slightly taller. In the bedroom will people notice? Maybe. Are the stars just pinpricks in the curtain of night? Who knows?I have communicated with this seller and this seller is fantastic, top notch. Any problem and they arrange for it to be picked up from your address and refund you the money. Very fast too. There is a lot of pieces to both these cabinets whichever one you buy and I mean A LOT.Very recommended and wood glue is advised.

Good little cabinet.
Arrived on time and it took about one and a half hours to assemble not including the 20 minutes or so to check all parts and screws were correct before i started assembly so allow a couple of hours of DIY fun.The parts as some of the reviewers have said are not numbered but there is a bag of screws and dowels and other bits and pieces that are all clearly labelled in separate bags and they all match the instructions very well, make sure you do not tear open the bags without first laying all relevant parts down on the floor or a table with the correct letters to match the parts and if you do that you will find the instructions very straight forward.I assembled this on my own and although fiddly at times it can be done with one person quite easily i definitely didn't find the assembly as bad as some appear to have experienced with this cabinet. I wouldn't recommend the use of any power tools as the wood is very soft and there's really no need as all the screws go in pretty smooth anyway. The cabinet arrived without any dinks or factory marks perhaps i was just lucky there and does look very good once assembled but i didn't bother fitting( imho) the ugly black plastic type washers as i could see no point in them at all and the cabinet looks so much nicer without them on it. Very pleased with this for the price would buy another if needed.
