So far this works well, although I have a pop socket on my phone and the prevents the holder from being as secure. Without the pop socket, it would fit very well. I found this to be easy to put together and install on my air vent in my jeep. I do knock it around quite a bit and so far it has not fallen off or broken. The only other downside is nothing to do with this holder, I am afraid of forgetting my phone in the car which would be a disaster considering what they cost these days.

Im not a fan of the suction holders and then came across this ...no suctions, no bulky holder in the middle of the car window was my idea of a good phone holder. Its super easy to put together and does go in the air vent clip but you can adjust it to fit in the vent so i loved that for that extra security . Easily put your phone in and out and grips like a charm. I have an iphone 12 pro max so size doesnt matter and what i was worried about since the pro maxs are heavier and bigger but no complaints

The way this attaches to your vent fin is genius, and now that I have it all situated, it almost feels like it was factory installed. The installation is fiddly though, and you have to make sure everything is nice and tight and situated to get there. The arms grip a little too well, and it's just a bit of a struggle trying to get the phone OUT of the holder. With the case I have, the thing can be upside down and it still holds on tight, which is almost annoying honestly. But I know it won't ever accidentally fall out, and that's what counts.

Love this. Easy to install and adjust, very sturdy, perfect fit for my phone in its case.It did break after maybe 2 years, just the right side piece, but I still use it. Just have to be careful when I make left turns that I hold onto it LOL.I’d get it again.

Update- I’ve been using this phone holder for a very long time now and it’s just as good as when I did this review video.Real person here that gets nothing for free, ever. I put a video up because I don’t know it is useful to me when I see them. The most important thing to say here is this is a simple design that is rocksolid. I am so excited that I got a phone holder that doesn’t have any magic causing it to fall on the floor while I’m driving. And it’s the cheapest one I’ve ever gotten and obviously the ones I’ve gotten didn’t make it because I wouldn’t have bought this then would I? I hope this helps somebody!

I took this on a 2,300-mine road trip in a Ford Ranger on the gravel roads of Namibia. Consider it well-tested!The arms gripped the dual-layer case of my Google Pixel 6 Pro gently but firmly. Never once did my phone jiggle loose. The air vent hook was easy to install and worked great. I was able to tighten everything down the way I wanted it. One nice thing is that there was enough space between the vent and the back of the holder that it didn't impede the airport.So why did I only give it three stars? One point against it was the arm length. My phone isn't dainty, but it's not that big, and there wasn't that much room to spare. More importantly, though, is that it's not easy to release the arms. The button is on the back and it's awkward - you have to press the glass front of your phone to push the button. Worse, the arms slowly creep apart; a lot of times you have to help them open up while you're already fumbling with the back button.I am thinking about buying a different phone holder that opens up more easily, but this one works well enough that I can get by just fine - I just wish I'd bought a different brand to begin with.The photos in this review are in my Toyota Highlander. I drive an 04 Corvette and there isn't room for anything Lol... I would never consider anything sticky on my dash and cannot have anything attached to the windshield like many phone holders.I was skeptical about putting anything in my air vents but for the price, I thought I'd give it a shot. This holder is excellent, really. It goes right in the vent with a little stabilizer and tightens so that there is absolutely no movement or potential damage to your car's vent. It doesn't sag, wobble or move other than the mechanism to actually hold the phone. It's small and compact which is perfect for a Corvette because everything in a Vette is compact. And it looks okay and almost unnoticeable. I would highly recommend this holder and for the price, you cannot beat it

I bought this over a year ago and use it everyday. My favorite thing about it is how quick and easy it is to put your phone in and take it out, all with one hand. I would buy it again and as a gift for anyone I know needs one.
