Top notch pizza oven
What a piece of kit! It turns out a restaurant quality pizza in 60 - 80 seconds depending on the size and toppings. I had trouble lighting the booster burner at first, so I resorted to lighting it without the round stone in place in order to see the burner strip,(as the spy hole mentioned in the instructions does not seem to be in the right place), easily fitting it after it was lit. The main burner lights very easily and if it should accidentally be turned off whilst getting used to adjusting the temperature, it can easily be relit. Make sure if using the booster burner that the rotating mechanism is turning the stone, or it may crack. Mine came with two gas regulators, but as I use a propane cylinder with a 5/8" LH thread, I used my own regulator. It's a heavy oven and realistically requires two people to move it safely, but the weight comes from the quality materials it's made from. I purchased a separate infrared temperature sensor which tells me that it reaches 400°C in about 25 minutes - plenty hot enough to cook a pizza, though if left longer it will reach closer to 500°C. At these temperatures, it's very easy to burner yourself, so invest in a pizza peel with a long enough handle to keep your hands away from the entrance to the oven. This is an expensive oven, but the ease of use and quality of the pizza it can turn out make it worthwhile and I expect to be using this oven for years to come.

I have owned two ovens - both have broken and the UK repairer is shocking.
my original review is still at the bottom of this review - I highly rated this product. I have now owned two of these - both have lasted only a year and failed - for different reasons. The UK repairer is shocking and has failed to resolve and return me a working product twice. This is a very expensive pizza oven and NOT worth the investment. They are unreliable and then the UK authorised repairer will fail to resolve the problem or simply not return your oven and then not reply to your emails. No complaints at all. Straight out the box with a supermarket bought dough ball I’m creating the best pizza I’ve ever had. Honestly, with zero experience the pizza we created was amazing. The oven heated up in no time, the rotating stone ensured even cooking, the base of the pizza was crisp due to the fast heating of the oven and stone - the pizza cooked in less than a minute and a half. 5 more pizza later and everyone is fed and every pizza was perfect. I was ready to buy a Ooni or a Roccbox and changed my mind at the last minute. No regrets - this oven is worth every penny. Order with confidence - you won’t regret it.

Brilliant pizza. Set up is a faff due to wrong parts fitted
This is without a doubt a fantastic pizza oven. Cooks the greatest pizzas to perfection. Nothing comes close. The rotating stone makes it so easy. just wonderful. Beware though! The oven comes fitted with a weird european (i think) gas regulator. So you cannot use it out the box. You need to buy a uk one and fight like anything to get the host off and swap it. This is really hard and you'll probably end up taking a hacksaw to it....... Something like this https://www.amazon.co.uk/Gas-Regulator-Mikalor-Stainless-Flogas/dp/B07574V4BR/ref=asc_df_B07574V4BR is required. Also it totally impossible to see if the under stone burner is lit. You can hear the woosh as it lights, but you simply dont know if its still lit when you let the wheel out. So there is a fair bit of anxiety! There is a supposed hole to see if its lit, but I cant see any gas pilot light there. Its just too bright outside! EDIT - turns out that the reason I couldnt tell was that it wasnt lit at all and was faulty. Ignition did not spark. So thats a serious design flaw. But, this really is a terrific bit of kit for evenings in the garden, if you get one that works!

Excellent Purchase, Perfect for Pizza Lovers!
I’m so happy with my Witt Etna Fermo oven! It’s truly a fantastic purchase, and I’ve been having a blast making pizzas on weekends. I’m learning and perfecting my dough recipe while enjoying delicious results. The oven heats up to 450°C in just about 20 minutes, making it ready to cook in no time, it can go even higher to 550°c to make a true neapoletan pizza. It function well but you need to find a space for is as it's not small (around 80x80cm). I do recommend to get the cover for it for sure, if it will be outside. I was really debating between the Fermo or Rotante version, but I'm the end went with Fermo as the stone it's a one piece and the flower will not get lost underneath make it hard to clean. And best function, love this U shape flame to cook pizza evenly all around. You can cook stakes in cast iron pans or other stuff too. Highly recommended-it’s absolutely worth it!

Perfect pizza
Purchased this pizza oven as a post Christmas treat to myself. I expected it to sit in the box until the warmer months, but I just couldn’t resist testing it out once it had arrived. Once I’d fired it up (I think it took under 20 mins to be hot enough) the pizza cooked so quickly I couldn’t believe it! The oven not only looked stunning in my garden (albeit in winter), but the pizza was delicious. It tasted just like one from a restaurant. Can’t wait for pizza on summer nights!

Stone doesn't keep turning.
Nice oven - but the stone has never turned consistently - stops and has to be pushed around. It is a shame as looks good otherwise - just doesn;t work properly.

Great until it breaks then SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE
Made about 10 pizzas before the burner stopped working - cue *absolutely appalling customer service* The oven appears well made, looks great, cooks a pizza in 1 minute flat - so far, so amazing. However after using about 10 times I noticed the crust wasn’t cooking so well - turns out the burner under the pizza stone had just stopped working. This was 8 weeks ago - contacted Witt via the only mechanism they have - an email form. 2 weeks after contacting them some random 3rd party contacted me asking when I wanted to ship it back - this thing is *HUGE*. There isn’t a cardboard box big enough to ship it in. Was told that an “on site technician” would visit - which sounds great - except nobody showed up - so an £800 pizza oven that cooks 10 pizzas before turning into a useless garden ornament - I mean the pizzas are good - but they’re not *that good* - save yourself the pain and buy the Ooni - turning the pizza by hand really isn’t that hard

Top quality, decent size pizza oven and built to last
I wanted a pizza oven in the garden for ages but most of them are too small for a decent size pizza or flimsy built and not likely to stand up long in UK weather. Saw the Witt one (it’s a big Danish company) at a friends house and wanted one immediately as its a big ol’ beast and feels built to last. Was gonna put it off till spring but a New Year Pizza-Party idea meant and early buy and a fabulous fun evening in the rain feeding everyone… with the toppings choices getting madder as the night went on with guests chipping in 'recipe' ideas. So, my thoughts: Build and finish are top notch and well up to the price – much better than any other brands I have seen. The Stone colour one I bought is light grey and matches our patio furniture well and isn’t too tough to clean. Black or grey might have been a safer bet but the stone colour looks very good. It lights every time, first time and came with a normal gas hose and valve ready to go. Just add a gas bottle. I am no expert on cooking pizzas, so there is a learning curve if that is you. We had a few ‘oh dear’ moments (over-done mostly) to start with, but the wine was flowing and it was dark didn’t help in my defence. The pizzas cook much, much quicker than I expected – literally a couple of mins when the oven is up to temp, so it’s easy to bash them out one after the other for hungry guests – if you can get a willing assistant to prep them fast enough. We used ready-made pizza dough balls from Chef For Foodies – not cheap, but really nice and soooo easy. Only used it once more since NYE, in the daylight and it cooks really evenly. Top tip - get a decent pizza slice thing (I think they are called a ‘pizza peel’) as it’s a bit of a PITA to get pizzas in and out using normal kitchen utensils. Overall though, the fam and friends love it, and I see it getting a lot of use come the summer. Very pleased.
