Why did you choose this product over others?: I have been after a Davros dalek to go with my Dr Who companions figurine collections for some time. Finally I have one that fits perfectly. It arrived in perfect condition and looks great next to one of my Drs and a dalek.

I was an idiot and assumed that you get the magazine with the model because the magazine and model brand new from eaglemoss is around £8. I ordered from amazon because i heard that eaglemoss is a mixed bag when it came to delivery and sometimes the figures turn up broken or delayed. You have to pay for delivery and wait longer than amazon so after adding the delivery prices it worked out a pound or two more than amazon and amazon had next day delivery. Wasn't available when the post came so the postman put the package next to the outside bin where nobody could see it so that was alright. I noticed the box was too small to fit a magazine in it so i thought that it must be rolled up inside. I opened the box to find that it was just the figure and some brown paper. Was disappointed but it was my own fault for assuming. Doesn't say anywhere that the mag is not included and i figured you would have got it as seeing as the base price of it is more than from eaglemoss themselves. I got davros as I'm just starting to collect these figures and wanted to skip matt smith because they released an updated version of him in another pack. So i went straight to issue 2 which was davros and the sculpting is impressive. The model is not as small as i thought it was going to be which is good and the paint is pretty decent. On some areas if you look close enough the paint goes over by the tiniest margain but it's not that big of a deal and if you do see any minor paint errors they are easily fixable if you've got a steady hand and a fine paintbrush. Even a sharpie can clear up some paint. All in all though, the figure is good. The paint is great and the sculpting is nothing short of fantastic. It's hard to paint a small figure like this and get so much detail into it but they managed it and for the price you can't really get any better than that. I gave it a three star for value because i think at 9.99 it should have included the magazine like pretty much everywhere else does but if you're just interested in the models then I'm happy to say that they are very good. Presentation gets a five star because it was well packaged and the model and model box was in pretty much mint condition. I luckily managed to find someone selling the magazines separately so i didn't spend money on this for nothing. If you want the magazine, don't bother. If you don't care about the magazine and just want the model then go for it. You can get the models cheaper on ebay but it won't have next day delivery and it won't be brand new like these ones on amazon.

If you’re of a certain age, plus a fan of the original Doctor Who series. This figure is a definite reminder. Very well-made indeed.

Smaller than what we expected but at least it is something my grandson will appreciate for a collection.

Looks good but did have a piece that was broken on the back it was a small bit but not noticeable, was a gift and they liked it
