Do the Apple Pencil unpairs from iPad every time you charge it?

Yes it does, I return it because of that it was so annoying.

I have an iPad 10th gen can I use the charger to connect my 2nd gen Apple Pencil to my iPad?

This charger is Only compatible with the original Apple pencil 2nd generation. But the iPad 10 generation is compatible with the Apple Pencil 1st Gen.So it can only charge the Apple Pencil 2nd Gen, the applicable iPad model depends on the Apple Pencil, not on our charger.

I have a silicone cover for my pencil, will it charge through that?

The normal silicone cover is not affected, but extra thick ones will affect it.
