6 Balloon Modelling Christmas Crackers

These were an unexpected hit this Christmas. They cost about the same as generic crackers, but instead of a disappointing padlock, you've got something that can keep grown adults entertained while they wait for their dinner. The animals made were about as convincing as balloon animals usually are, but it was a lot of fun trying to guess what they were. Each cracker had a pack of balloons and a pump, and there were instruction sheets for everyone, which I tucked under the place mats.

Well, I don't know what to say. I bought those as a surprise for Christmas and first reaction of my family members upon opening them was "how boring". However, we had several hours of great fun making ad lib figures and competing with each other. Those figures spent several days "decorating" our lounge and then our dog had great fun popping them. And of course I had "great fun" clearing the mess afterwards.So, it kept busy and entertained all our family.

Great fun - bought them for Christmas with the idea of everyone making models before food on boxing day - we always have close friends over - and the crackers were perfect. Everyone had fun as it was not easy to put them on the pumps but not so hard to put you off. Time flew and before we knew it nearly two hours had passed.Will be buying them again

Both adults and children enjoyed these crackers. The adults were making the balloon objects and the children enjoyed playing with them and just having the balloons which were plentiful. The pumps that came in the crackers were useless and we were fortunate to already have a pump. There were only instructions to make three different things which was disappointing.

These are great crackers. Each contains a set of modeling balloons and a small pump, which are good quality and work well. We had great fun with these on Christmas day, despite the fact that we hadn't noticed the instruction sheet in the bottom of the box! The kids used their imaginations though, and there are plenty of balloons to practice with. Worth paying a bit extra for a special occasion, and the pumps will last a while if we buy some extra balloons.

I should give these 5 stars for entertainment! I have rarely laughed so much as 4 generations of my (after trying these) irate family tried to blow these up with the pathetic pumps, then they ripped and when we managed a few, the instructions allowed us to create... well multi coloured sausages!

These crackers cost more than I would normally spend but I was looking for something different this year and as usual I find it on Amazon. After Christmas lunch we can make model balloons and wear them on our heads instead of paper hats... Will update at a later date.

I never expect much from any crackers and didn't think the pump would be much if it was small enough to fit in a cracker. However the pump worked and it was easy to blow up the balloons but they only get 2 stars as none of us succeeded in making anything! Personally I think they are a waste of money.
