this is the first FX processor i got to play on, and i love it.as far as what i like, it has a Wide variaty of sounds to play with (from high gain, to bass simulation, and even eddy van hellen FX.) it has enough FX to keep you experimenting, and the tuner is not bad feature ether. the first two buttons are to help flip through the FX with ease, and the third one edits the FX enough to make it. diffrent. (some more then others, or even turn the peddle into something else.)but the best part is you can mess with it to make the tone you want it to be, and edit the processor to do stuff you want. (i haven't gotten that far, but i might sooner or later.)but the only grip i have with it is the peddle, i thought it was going to be a spring one, but it stays in place with no force going agents it. but i guess thats whats called an emotion peddle, but good for keeping the volume sorted when your play.Overall:great FX processers for newbies and pros alike. battery died after a month, but the DC adapter works with this. i would recommend getting another peddle if you want one that pushed agents the peddle itself. but i would recommend it to anyone with any eletric guitar.

The Boss Gt-1 is an amazing deal for what it costs. It’s beyond user friendly. It’s Boss so you have all the Boss effects that made Boss who they are.The biggest value for me is how easy it is to program and edit sounds. You can also connect to Tone Central and pull any type of tone you want. It’s easy and I use mine every day. I’m very happy with the quality of of time, easy to use and more time to play my guitar.

This thing is amazing, sound incredible on headphones or straight to the Amp, simulations are fantastic, I'm used to individual pedals but wanted to simplify my practice.. This thing is the real deal, the interface is not as complex as it seems, and it's extreme versitile. You can easily gig with it if you create your own patches, without the need of extra foot switches. Very durable materials, works on ac or battery, and the USB interface for tweaking is really good as well the recording interface function.

Im only giving 4 stars because I like the product overall, but I wish there were more info in the guide about how to use it well. Plus, it doesnt come with a power cord and it just comes with the batteries only which I wish I knew before I bought it. Now im gonna have to spend an extra $30 to get the power cord so im not going through batteries like a running faucet. Also, im new to effects pedals but boss really needs to have better intructions in the manual and on tone studio if you have no idea what your are doing and are new to multieffects pedals like I am.

I've owned a lot of effects boxes in my day. For the money, this baby is exceptional.I tried some other lower cost mult-effects processors and they didn't come close in the overall quality of both the product build and the sound of this baby. Many of the onboard patches are not good, but a few are gems to learn from. Hook this up to your CPU and use the Boss software editing software and it starts getting fun. Then you get online and download other patches...oh my. You quickly start learning how to make some great patches that fit your tastes. My criticisms are few. The biggest is that I wished the cpu software worked better with a touch screen. You really need a mouse to use the software. And I wish I had one more control/expression output (there are already 2), but I will survive. I'm using this with an RC-300 looper and the possibilities are endless. Highly recommend.

This is so much fun, experimenting with the huge array of built-in sounds, and then playing around with them for an almost infinite possibilities. The owner’s manual is pretty limited, with just the basics covered, but there are YouTube videos that have been very helpful.Delivery was next day, and buying the box with the ac adapter and patch cords as a bundle saved me about $20, so it was a good decision.

Bought this for my Grandso and he Loves it. It's a challenge to figure out each component if you've never used one but that's what he likes about it!

The sheer versatility of this product for the price is unmatched. download patches, make your own, sampling, it has it all. I use it with both my bass guitars and regular. Works fantastic.
