I absolutely love these. They are gluten free, so I dont feel guilty about eating them and not bloated. Secondly, these have all natural ingredients, so I'm satisfied that I'm not eating artificial chemicals or preservatives. Lastly, these are tasty, unlike other cookies where the taste is compromised. I hope they bring out more varieties in these cookies.

After many disappointing experiences buying gluten free foods, I took a chance on ordering cookies from Simple Mills. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! These cookies are delicious! These remind me of Oreo cookies, only better. The chocolate cookie is a rich dark chocolate with a pleasing crunch. The cream filling is tasty and provides a lovely balance to the cookie. I don’t write that many reviews but I ran across a few extremely negative reviews of these cookies and I thought I needed to help clear up their apparent confusion: These cookies are made with cashews but they don’t taste like cashews. Those of us who are dairy free are aware that cashews (& other ingredients) are often used to provide a creamy texture. They are a healthier replacement for dairy than hydrogenated oils, for example. While the overall taste and texture is pleasing, don’t expect it to taste like nuts. This brand uses a mixture of gluten free flours in their cookies like watermelon seeds and nuts. Just because nuts or seeds are used, don’t assume the cookies will necessarily taste like nuts. Want to taste a cashew, eat an cashew. Want delicious gluten-free cookies? Try these ones from Simple Mills. Are these cookies expensive? Compared to mainstream cookies with gluten, dairy, soy, and other allergens I need to avoid, yes they are. The prices on Amazon seem to vary a lot and the package size is much smaller than non-gluten free cookies. The ingredients they use are also more expensive than mainstream brands. That’s to be expected. I do closely watch the pricing of the cookies and don’t buy them if the price is temporarily too high. However, gluten-free cookies always cost more than regular cookies. In summary, these are great cookies if you need to avoid gluten, dairy, and soy but don’t want to sacrifice flavor. I’ve also enjoyed their chocolate chip, chocolate thins, and pecan cookies but these are still my favorite. Yum!

I find these cookies hard to resist, even though I quit eating sugar years ago, these do have 5 gr of added sugar in 2 cookies. It's coconut sugar. But sugar is sugar. I save them for a treat occassionally. They're made with Organic Buckwheat flour and cashew flour. They have added carrot fiber, but don't worry, you don't even know it's there, you just taste chocolate, slightly taste buckwheat and taste cashew butter. To me it's an occasional treat. Not the absolute best thing to be eating a lot of, but not the worst either. There is nothing artificial, no artificial flavoring or colorings. Fairly high calorie, as is anything with nut butter in. So, it has to be a chose over something much worse for you. It is great for an occasional treat, not eat a lot of, that's how I look at it. Hope this helps someone make a good choice for themselves.

I was so excited to get these because I love cashew butter. I was so disappointed. After I ate the first one I thought it tasted kind of weird but to be sure I ate a second one. It's really nasty. The cashew butter taste like spoiled rotten cashews that have been burnt and roasted. It leaves a sickening nauseating taste in your mouth. By the second cookie I was feeling sick. It tastes like spoiled burnt nuts and chemicals. Seriously these are really overpriced nasty nasty cookies. I do not recommend them to anyone. Save your money and buy Tate's cookies or Oreo cookies or some product that you know is going to be good because these are horrible! The sickening Taste of the rotten cashew butter lingers in your mouth making you feel nauseous 30 or 40 minutes after you ate the cookie. Avoid these at all costs! They're really really gross!
