Great value for a name brand unit with CarPlay
Easy to install as long as you have all of the adaptors and harnesses that you need. Touch screen is fast and accurate. The sounds quality is good and easily adjustable with the equalizer. The CarPlay is a little bit on the slow side but is definitely worth it for the low price of this head unit.

Very pleased so far.
This fit perfectly in our 2012 Xterra using the American International mounting kit NDK739.

What an amazing product.
Just want to say this head unit is amazing. Put it in my 2015 F150 XLT use the maestro RR four with the data link. I’ve got to say 10 out of 10. I love it all the little extra features you get with it plus you keep your steering wheel and the existing volume knob that’s there, also, you still have access to your Ford settings too you don’t lose it.

Solid choice
Wish it had a physical volume knob, but it’s a nice deck.

It's crap. Very dissapointed with Kenwood. Buy a different one.
WOW. This thing was AWFUL. I was really excited to get this deck, and it's such garbage I can't believe Kenwood would even put their name on it. Where to start. It takes forever to "boot up". EVERYTHING is unintuitive. The user interface sucks. Slow, the menus are not well designed, and it will just change screens whenever it wants. I listen to a thumb drive on the USB a lot, and half the time I have to unplug it and plug it back in just for it to know it's there. The Android Auto is trash. Loved the idea of it, but I used it for about a week before I disabled it completely, because it was so inconvenient. Also, it's way too bright at night even on dim, with no settings to adjust it. It is devoid of MANY features that even a cheap deck from WallyWorld would have (not a promotion, I hate WMart, but the deck I purchased there is still better) - If you had it on full volume when you shut it off, it starts up at FULL VOLUME. Most decks are smart enough to have a selectable startup level. - It dies IMMEDIATELY when you rotate the key from on to accessory. Most decks will stay on instead. - Sound come on immediately and dies immediately. Most high end decks "swell" the sound up as it come on, and down as it shuts off, so it is easier on the ears. - The power button is not illuminated when the deck is off, so it's very hard to find it at night - Produces less signal volume than the cheap DUAL deck I had before - Will not read files that my cheap DUAL deck will read, freezes for 10 seconds when it encounters a file it doesn't like - Random isn't random. I had over 400 songs on a thumb drive and it would play about 40 of them on random. To hear the others, I'd have to go to the folder and select the song. I would be somewhat ok with this deck if it were a $150 off brand Chinese deck, BUT THIS THING IS $526 bucks BY KENWOOD. I switched back to my $80 deck and I'm much happier.

Sounded amazing but ......
It was a great radio, sounded great and was very happy with it, but it kept resetting itself and I would have to keep reprogramming it. The last day it did it 4 times in a one hour. Also it was hard for me to glance at the screen to see time or song ( this wasn't the radios fault it was my old eyes.) LOL.

I installed 2 weeks ago with a Maestro, it reboot often (2~15 minute) on the road or stopped at accessories. I'm not sure yet if the problem is the radio or the Maestro. I'm sure the cable are correct, it can do it on flat road, engine stopped at accessories, or ignition. I will review once I find the issue.

The only issues I have is that after a few months the microphone stopped working and the glare you get on it is pretty bad. There are times you can't see anything on it when the sun's shining.
