BlondMe Premium Lift 9+ Powder Brightener 450g

This is the only product I have ever used at home that has not made my hair bright yellow like a duckling! I have very dark brown hair and usually need at least two lots of bleach to lighten my hair to a point where I can successfully tone and colour (I usually go for pastel colours over bleach). This creates problems with banding when I do my roots and means I have to do a lot of ‘suck it and see’ and correction to get the colours I’m after and also means I often need to go a darker shade at the roots. I used this bleach powder with the 30 vol developer of the same brand. At the time of purchasing both items cost just under £30 which is an expensive outlay but the amounts are such that this will last me months and probably cost the same or less in the long run than buying boxed products, so perfect for anyone who regularly bleaches. The powder comes with a measuring spoon which I used for both the powder and developer at a 1:2 ratio, which gave a good consistency mix. The manufacturers recommend anything from 1:1.5 and 1:2.5 powder to developer, so I opted for the middle. I left to develop for 40 mins and achieved a creamy blonde somewhere between very light blonde (lift level 9)/extra light blonde (level 10) on my very dark roots. Usually I would not get past a 7 with home bleach. This is a great bleach product that I would recommend to anyone with dark hair. It smells lovely unlike every other kit I’ve used at home. Did sting the scalp a bit while it was on, but that’s always the case for me and it did not cause any damage to my scalp/skin. Not sure whether the bond plex improves the condition in comparison to other bleaches as yet, but I may come back at a later date and comment on this. All round the best product I’ve ever used for home bleaching.

I used this to dye my teens hair from red brown to blonde. I wasnt expecting it to turn out as well as it did, but this dye is absolutely fantastic. It lifted to very light yellow/platinum im guessing because theres so much blue in the dye, and wow. I was expecting it to lift to orange the first time, but it went straight to blonde. I used foils and left each foil on for 15 minutes - 20 minutes and eye balled each foil. From roots to tips, very even, and no orange, lifted straight through those phases. I used the same brand 30 Vol developer with it. Also, its pretty good to eyeball, as when I washed it off it didnt change too much as you can see from the photo of it wet to dry. A lot of the dyes ive used look so white and you wash it off and its orange/dark yellow. With my own hair ive always used box dye, but well my teen deserved better and I did a little research. This is well worth the money, and theres so many applications in the tub (and bottle of developer). My teen is absolutely chuffed as they wanted to go pastel pink, and you really need to get it platinum to do that. This dye lifted to the right level to use a toner to make it platinum before applying the pink and it came out perfect. I really wasnt expecting it to come out quite so good, but seriously, it looks like they had it done at a salon and theyre so happy with me lmao. My kid has undyed shaved sides you can see their natural colour in the photos. Highly recommend for at home use, Ive never seen a dye work so well, but thats probably due to my toxic trait of previously buying box dye for myself lmao.

This is by far the best bleach/ lightener I have ever used! It was easy to mix (1 part lightner to 2 parts developer) - I used the BlondMe 9%/ 30 Volume Developer and it took me from my natural Level 2/3 hair to a level 9/10 in 30 minutes with zero scalp irritation, tingling or stinging. I could see it beginning to work almost immediately. My hair also came out completely even (unfortunately the photos don't show just how incredibly even my hair turned out, a first for me when lightening - the photos also make it look a bit brassy which it wasn't at all, the second photo shows much better how just how much lift it gave me, the third photo shows my natural hair), with little to no damage. Even after colouring my hair the next day (a very light ash/ dirty blond - which I love) my hair was still in pretty good condition. I have just done my roots for the first time, this was also made easier due to the consistency of the lightner and developer, which is just right IMO, a medium weight cream not to thick and dry and it doesn't run everywhere. The smell was a pleasant surprise, hardly any harsh peroxide/ chemical smell but just a light floral scent. Since I first dyed my hair using the BlondMe range I have had loads of compliments and even my hairdresser thought I had had my hair professionally lightened and highlighted! The one thing I would recommend is to use a different shampoo and mask than the BlondMe ones that are recommend as I found them to be surprisingly harsh and drying. I've been using Purerology Perfect 4 Platinum Shampoo and Purerology Strength Cure Conditioner. Bleach London Resurrection Mask and Purerology Perfect for Platinum Miracle Filler leave in spray and my hair looks glossy and healthy, which used to be a battle every time I had my hair lightened or lightened it myself. Sorry to ramble on but I cannot recommend the BlondMe Lightener and Developer enough, it really is a game changer!

I bought this product as part of the brand's range: Powder Brightener, Premium Care Developer and Blonde Toner (Ice Cream 60). It was my first time dyeing hair myself, I usually go to the salon but it's becoming expensive (£120 for a man!). I applied 1 scoop of Powder Brightener (used my protein scoop to measure as one isn't supplied), and 2 scoops of the 6% PC developer. Left on for 40 mins with a shower cap I bought from Amazon, my scalp was absolutely fine and my hair felt nourished after. In the salon it felt unbearable! I then washed out. Then I used 30g (half a tube) of the Blonde Me toner with 2% PC developer. Left on for 20 minutes, might've been a tad too long for me as there are shimmer of purple but it's not too noticeable and for sure will wash / fade out. Overall the results have been amazing. Worth noting this product arrived the day after I bought it despite Amazon telling me it'll take 4-5 days (as supplier shipping). Really happy, all in all spent £70 on all the materials and accessories to do it myself at home, which is £50 less than I would spend in a salon, and I reckon I have a year's worth of supply if I do my hair once a month (would need more of the toner though, one tube lasts 2 uses). This is the best bleach powder and developer I have ever used. I tend to only review things that I think are the best of what I have found. This brand let me go from 30 vol to 20 vol without losing any lightening power! This has improved my hair length and quality without sacrificing on results. Amazingly it is also cheaper than the bleach powder I was using from Boots because of how much you are buying each time. My baby hairs no longer break off. Many people have commented that my hair is longer and thicker than they have ever seen in. The main reason is that I upgraded to high quality bleach and not what you can get on the high street. I have nothing but good things to say about this brand, it is so high lift! The bleach smell is also unscented and not too overpowering.

What I liked: - easy to use, good instructions. - comes with a scoop - blue bleach to help counteract orange and yellow tones - no weird smell - hair is still strong!!! Dislikes - this burned!!!!! I have been using bleach for many years and never in my life has a bleach burned this bad. As soon as it got on my skin I had to immediately remove it and it started to burn and turn red. If you are sensitive opt for a bleach that is not as intense! (This lifts up to 9 levels!). - it made my eyes water and sting!!! - I'd say it is quite pricey I used this in my dyed black hair... im pretty amazed at how well it lifted!! I would recommend for dark hair, but always ALWAYS do a patch test.

Fabulous product. I have been dyeing my hair at home now for the last year or so using said product and can I just say. Amazing!!! I must say the extensive bleaching I do on my hair is crazy (1st round 2 hours) and a week later (2nd round 40) to achieve the platinum shade that I am rocking in the pictures. I know there are other brands out there but will stick with what I know. Word of caution: because I keep my hair very short i.e. cut it down every other week and by the time the 5th week comes around, there is literally none of the blonde left therefore I am dyeing fresh hair rather than hair already bleached. I experience no hair breakage or hair falling out whatsoever. A good tip: when mixing your developer and powder, add natural coconut oil to the mixture to protect your hair. Works everytime!

I was apprehensive to buy this as I was concerned it would be fake, and I guess I have nothing to compare it to as its my first time buying this brand but its been recommended to me by hairdressers as it contains a little bit of the schwarzkopf alternative to olaplex no.1 (so this product is usually not open to the public either, which I think is stupid) and I've got to say in the 11 years I've been bleaching my hair this was the nicest bleach I've used. It smells amazing aswell! Not so much when it's mixed, but the products before they're mixed smell lovely! My scalp didn't itch at all besides round the front where it's usually a bit more sensitive for me. It got my very dark blonde/light brown hair to a really lovely white in literally 1 round (I only had to do my roots, but I later bleach bathed my pink hair) and my hair really didn't feel as bad as it has in the past! It's never going to feel amazing after frying off your hair from the inside but this was really not bad! Hopefully not fake but still works well if it is 😂
