Christow Garden Potting Table Wooden Germination Work Bench With Wheels, Drawer, Compost Tray (120cm x 90cm x 42cm)

So happy with this potting bench! Good quality and very little self assembly required. Fits perfectly at the end of my allotments 6x4 foot potting shed. I’m using the plastic bowl as a make shift sink for hand washing which is perfect for getting the mud off after a days digging! The drawer glides easily, the upper shelf and lower level storage areas are really useful too. I’ve got our heavy boots on the lower shelf. There are wheels included too although we didn’t use them as I won’t be moving the bench around. Easy to assemble in under 45 minutes (my husband says!). The base and the work surface with drawer and bowl were already assembled in the package. I would recommend as the quality is good, the wood is nice and smooth and without splinters, the handle is well made and looks attractive. Perfect. I’m Really happy with it.

Easy to assemble even for DIY nove such as me (about an hour) Love the drawer and basin. Wheels (slightly rudimentary in my opinion) will prove useful when trying to decide where to site my bench although unit isn't overly heavy. The little head height shelf will come in handy when I come to use it. The wood was fairly smooth and splinter free though a choice of colours would be nice. I'm going to waterproof it for our rainy British weather. Perhaps a cover for it would come in handy for outdoor storage as would some hooks for hanging tools. The height is good for me (I'm a little shorter than average) so anticipating an ache free back after a fun afternoon potting up. I'd recommend this item and thought it good value for money.

I assembled this potting table quite easily, except for the little problem of applying two of the nuts to bolts whose ends were rather difficult to access, even for my relatively small hands! The assembled product seems to be quite stable and appears to be made from treated wood, although there are a couple of minor issues regarding production. There were two areas of cracking in the wood, one of which had actually come adrift. These were easily repaired, though, with a little wood glue. The other problem was the drawer fitting: it was sufficiently loose between the runners to cause it to drop out of position when in use. Again, I managed to circumvent this problem by the addition of a couple of felt pieces to make the drawer a tighter fit.

Is a great cart, perfect height and easy to assemble, it was a Mother’s Day gift for my wife who completely fell in love with it before we had even built it 😁

Bought two of these for my mum for Christmas. She loves them. A great product, well made. Instructions easy to use/assemble. One is to be used for potting, the other as a serving table for summer barbecues. Definitely good value.

Absolutely fabulous potting table. Well made and so easy to put together in about 30 mins. Top table just needs attached to the legs. I'll be keeping mine in the shed however if you wanted it for outside it would need to be weather proofed. So sturdy and a great size with plenty of room and added drawer. Highly recommend this product and would certainly purchase more Christow products. Can't wait for the better weather to start my seedlings!

I’m 65 years old, and hate self assembly but this was relatively easy - all the holes matched up and all the correct screws etc. Initially pleased with the item but after just 4 weeks the wood is cracking in places. And it’s very disappointing not to be able to discuss with the seller! I’ve used external wood filler on the cracks and painted it; I’m still fairly happy. It’s a nice table but either house it or paint a good protection on to it.
