I bought this because I kept getting a shock touching the door handle at my job. Using this really removes the shock I would get. Plus now it's fun watching the little bulb inside flash due to the electric charge.

I am really surprised at how well this little device works. I have a 100% polyester robe I enjoy wearing. The problem is the robe absorbs static electricity. So when I touch the shower door, either after removing the robe or while still wearing it, I get a nice shock with a spark. Now I just leave this device in the robe's pocket and no more static electricity. I don't even have to touch the device to the shower door. The device absorbs all the static electricity in the robe. I just have to remember to remove the device from the robe's pocket when I wash the robe. Maybe washing would not harm the device. But I don't want to take the risk. Very highly recommended. 5 stars. BTW, the device took a long time to arrive because it came standard mail from Malebo, Equatorial Guinea. Interesting. I saved the package as a souvenir.
