Touch of Class Eliza Rose Covered Box Ivory/Gold

Was so excited for this and was really disappointed when it arrived. 1. The base color is not pearl / white. It is definitely beige. Tested under multiple lighting and pictures taken on top of a white desk for reference. 2. The gold leaf work is so sloppy. The gold leaf foil doesn't even cover all of the accent details and you can see it is very badly applied. Chipped and scratched in multiple areas [yes I know this is how gold leaf should be styled, but you can see in the images it was applied carelessly]. In many places it cuts off well before the accent details end. 3. Looks obviously cheap. Was hoping for a classy box for rings and special jewelry and this just isn't it. Sad because it had so much potential.

This is beautiful but I think it was not packed well at all. It was loose and rattling and rubbing against the lid and container. I feared it would be cracked or chipped but I got lucky and it survived the trip.

Absolutely beautiful! This little jewelry box (or any small item box) is gorgeous! Even better than the the on line photo! Extremely well made, good gold paint is perfect and it looks very expensive! I am so pleased with this item. It had become my favorite new item!
