We purchased this carpet cleaner for small jobs at home and used it for the first time today. We foster kittens, so this is primarily to clean the foster kitten room carpet. I really like how easy it is to use! I had vacuumed the carpet well before I started, but I was AMAZED how much fur I pulled out of the carpet that I couldn't even see or detect in any way. Also, it pulled a couple of stains out as well. I haven't used any of the cleaning attachments as yet, but I am impressed with it so far.

I have owned several carpet cleaners over the years, but the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus is by far the best one I’ve used. The cleaning power is impressive. It removed stains from my carpets and rugs with very little effort and made them look almost brand new again. One thing I really love about this machine is how efficient it is. The suction is strong, so the carpets don’t stay overly wet after cleaning, which helps them dry faster. It also pulls up a surprising amount of dirt that regular vacuuming leaves behind. The upholstery attachment is another huge plus. I used it on my couch and it worked beautifully, lifting dirt and stains easily. It’s simple to attach and maneuver, which makes cleaning furniture much easier than I expected. The machine itself is also very user-friendly. The water tanks are easy to fill and empty, and the controls are straightforward. Even if you’ve never used a carpet cleaner before, it’s very easy to figure out. If you have pets, kids, or just want your carpets to look fresh again, I highly recommend the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus. It’s powerful, easy to use, and does an excellent job deep cleaning carpets and upholstery.

I love this machine! A great deal of our home is hardwood floors, and I was going to rent a carpet cleaner, but the idea of hauling that machine up and down the stairs to do the cleaning I wanted to do seemed ridiculous so I thought it might make sense to just get something more permanent. We actually use a small handheld Bissell all the time and it's awesome. And now the bigger one is truly amazing. The only issue I have is that it does need its water changed a lot so you have to work the carpet, change the water, then work the carpet and back and forth, so it takes a while, but it does a great job of cleaning the carpet. It got all the stains out and the carpet looks amazing (many spilled drinks 8"in a game room that developed stains). I may have also just used too much water because it is taking more than 30 minutes to dry, but I blame that on user error, not on the machine. Note the red power button that took me forever to figure that out.

I've owned this machine before and it's a great machine. I like the dual settings for a quick clean or a deeper clean. It's quick and easy to use and to clean. This second machine arrived dirty and broken-repackaged at the Amazon warehouse I suspect. I returned it for a full refund which was nice. Will be re-ordering again as I really enjoy this machine.

I got this machine several months ago. I debated quite a while about the higher cost of this large cleaner instead of a small spot bot, but I am so glad I purchased this one. We got a new puppy in August and the messes she made encouraged our other two dogs to forget their 'manners' as well. Pee after pee, poop after poop, this machine has gotten absolutely everything up. Today I am compelled to write because this morning the same (now older pup) chewed up a blue ink pen while on a light gray rug (not the decor I had in mind!!). I luckily found the accident very soon after it happened so the ink was still damp, but I had little hope anything would get it clean again. Boy I was wrong. It took several passes, but EVERY sign of that ink came out. With all the messes we've had this year, this machine has been worth every single cent. There are a few downsides: it can leak, but it has done that because I have not gotten the tanks clicked firmly into place OR I allowed the dirty tank to get too full. It is quite loud, but that's a small price to pay for what it can do. It is easy to use, though heavy. One other thing: if your rug/carpet has much texture (think deep carved designs), it can't get into the deeper areas to get to the dirt. I regret that in my haste to get today's ink mess cleaned up before it dried, I didn't take any before/after pictures. If I have any future difficult messes like that, I will update this review.

Replacement for an older Bissell Proheat Advanced. Definitely lives up to the great product reviews. The spot treatment sprayer is a great tool. The right amount of cleaner in a small area. 5 minutes of soak time lifted most every stain I had. Easy to clean afterwards. Value engineered for easy of operator's use. I applaud the upgrades and improvements.

It works well. It drinks a lot but I believe that's why it cleans so well. You will be surprised at the amount of filth hiding in your carpet!! I noted that as the tank empties and the device becomes lighter the suction is not as good. I happened to have a 7lbs dumbell and I placed it on the device and the suction was amazing again!! The device is well thought out as you will notice when you start going at it. It's very easy to clean and the roller section can very easily be taken apart for cleaning. I have an induction cook top and I heat the water to exactly 140F, this also makes it work much better. Hot water out of the faucet is not warm enough. The carpet texture looks closer to the less used areas probably thanks to its double brush. I feel that based on convenience, cost, cleaning level and ease of use it's much better than renting a carpet cleaner. My last Bissell carpet cleaner lasted for several years. Maybe next time I'll upgrade but so far I think this model covered all my needs at a reasonable cost.

Got it today, used it today. Easy assembly. Good picture instructions. Seems to be a quality unit. Be sure and lift by the lift handle. Seems silly but the operation handle is lighter duty and the unit is slightly heavy. Rolls great though. Does have to be empty quite often but does a great job. Do recommend spraying bad stains for pretreatment. Extracts water from carpet very well. Be sure to clean after use to maintain the unit, debris will set up like concrete. Good value for the money. Would give five stars but don't know how long it will give good performance.
