Easy to make, lovely potato taste . . wonderful product from the potato state of the US, grated cheddar cheese mixed in makes it tangy, some crushed garlic is a nice addition too, love it.

Tastes just like home made (maybe even better) snd it’s just so much more convenient. I find adding a little more butter is nice, and usually less water

Great qualty and easy to make instant mash. As a speedy alternative to peeling, chopping, boiling and mashing spuds it makes sense value wise too, imo.I reduce the water quantity and add semi skimmed milk, butter, dried flatleaf parsley, chervil and white pepper. Wonderful stuff😋!.Damn tasty if you also add some ready made crispy fried onions, tip into a small baking tin and spray the top with Vilgain(from Amazon)ghee and avocado oil spray, then bake in a hot oven 'til the top goes all brown and crusty...oh boy 🤤!

Quite Pricey, but worth it for the taste. These powdered mashed potatoes are delicious with a creamy texture that's just right. Plus, they have a great shelf life, making them a convenient pantry staple!

A simple and quick and versatile ingredient for tatty cakes, mash and broth thickener. Best value I have found for such a tastie potato product. Just watch the liquid. Milk is useful in small doses.

I heard someone else raving about this product a few years ago, found a shop that sold them & picked up a single packet to try.I was an instant convert & I've always been fussy about the taste of potatoes.These have a lovely full potato flavour, unlike some of the watery tasting types they seem to sell in the shops nowadays.I don't use as much water as the packet suggests as I think it makes the mash too sloppy, so I use about 350ml (I have a hot water dispenser style kettle & it's the most it will do in one boil) & find that makes a really lovely mash (I do add a bit of butter as well) that nobody so far has been able to tell isn't home made.I've ordered this multipack many times now over a couple of years because it's just so handy & there is no waste, no gone off potatoes etc..I find one packet is enough for 2 nice portions which (as a family of 2) is perfect for us.You can just leave this until about 2 minutes before you are serving up dinner, mix it up with the water, give it a good stir with a fork & it's done.I've also forgotten a couple of packets at the back of the cupboard & made them up a few months past their best before date - couldn't taste a difference, so this stuff keeps well.When you are wet & cold, some of this with instant gravy is a filling hot snack ready in the amount of time it takes to boil the kettle, so it's great either as a snack or with a meal.I also mix flour into the made up mash to make a dough, fry it in the pan & have basic potato cakes (a favourite in our house)If you last tried instant mash in the 70s, this is worlds away from what you remember.It's absolutely delicious, as versatile as any mashed potato & can be used exactly the way you would use any mashed potato you made yourself without the hassle or mess.I've just ordered yet again & realised it's probably my most purchased food on Amazon.For me, this is a cupboard must have.

Better than other “off the shelf” stuff out there, including the toppings for freezer meals in the “higher end” supermarkets for shepherd/ cottage pies. It’s not like fresh mashed potatoes, so add some real butter and Malden salt to make it seem nicer, fork it and give it an egg wash and it might pass muster after a bit in the oven.It’s not horrible and it’s the best of a bad lot in an emergency. I’d recommend it for what it is , emergency food in the go or a power cut.
