Incredible value
I own an Infiniti with Nissan's VK56 V8 - multiple mods have it dyno'd at over 440hp at the wheels, with a 0-60 of about 4.1 seconds. The car also has a custom-fabricated, 2.75" ID, straight-back exhaust. Each side had only one rear-located resonator - no muffler, no exhaust tip - so it is /loud/, inside and out. It recently became my daily driver and I got tired of driving a car that sounded like a Ram 3500 with cut pipes. I'm sure my neighbors were tired of it, too. I bought two of these mufflers with low expectations - they're cheap, pass-through, 3" ID, and there's only about 6 inches of actual muffler. But since the price was right, I figured I'd take a chance on them - if it worked out, it would be a heck of a lot cheaper and less painful than cutting the fabricated pipes to install full size mufflers and tips. I made three equidistant, vertical cuts to the connecting flanges, then clamped each shorty muffler to the end of the original exhaust with copper sealant and short brackets. Fit like a charm, no wiggle. The mufflers are light enough that hangers weren't necessary. I have been pleasantly SHOCKED by the difference these mufflers have made. They lowered the constant roar to a smooth growl, with plenty of volume when the gas pedal is on the floor. There's still some droning between 1600 and 1800 RPM - but that RPM range was already the worst with the fabricated exhaust, and the drone is now FAR quieter than it was before. Genuinely amazed. Highly recommended.

Open headers
If you are looking for quiet, this is not the product, although it does change the pitch to a deeper slightly quiet it sounds good. I welded mine out 2 foot from the headers. I run open header out the fender, welded just before it exits the fender so naturally, it is loud that they do help with the sound and is more tolerable than straight headers

Great exhaust flow and performance tone
These stainless-steel glass pack performance mufflers are underrated. These are built solid as not to corrode with rust after a short time. The TIG welds are high quality, and they retain their polished sheen and shine meaning they won't turn purple or peel. A well-disciplined performance tone. At interstate speeds it does not have that annoying moan "drone" sound to them. I installed them on my 2007 Chevy Silverado Z85 truck and 1994 Chevy Blazer to have a better dual exhaust than the traditional stuff you see out there.
