Boys, Boys, So Many Boys!
It took me quite awhile to start getting through the Monster Manga Book of Boys. There are so many different styles of them and, ultimately, they can be quite difficult to draw if you aren't already experienced. I wouldn't recommend this book for beginners. Start off with the beginners' book and then work your way up. Trust me, the extra effort is worth it if you want a great drawing sitting on your sketchbook or computer screen! For the price, you get a massive book and loads of information and inspiration. There are so many genres and line-by-line detailing that it makes drawing them out so much easier. It also gave me quite a bit of insight on the anime-male anatomy that can only be given through display.Did I mention that there were many, many boys? Because there are. And they're fabulous! This book is amazing.

Love it!!
I got this book today and there's a few things I wanna say about it1. It came a day early so that made me really happy2. After flipping through it I defiantly find it challenging as far as drawing your male characters in action poses. It was something I've been trying to learn how to do and now I can just open up this book and get a reference in an instant. However this isn't a how to draw book and it's really not for beginners. If your a beginner and looking for a how to draw book, this book isn't for you. I would say it's more for "advanced or skilled" artists that know or have a pretty good idea on how to draw manga. Me personally I'm not a beginner but I'm no expert either so this book is a challedge for me. Anyways it's full of all sorts of manga guys, one that I didn't expect to see so it's great for inspiration. Overall I give it 5 stars!!

Great but not for evryone
I love this book! The art is amazing and very profecional. This book is great for inspiration and for evryone who likes or is a fan of manga. BUT if you are a beginner and want this book to teach you how to draw then don't buy it. This book gives you step-by-step instryctions but they are kinda hard to follow and the coloring is definatly hard to do. I would recomend it, because the art is good and if you like manga you probably would enjoy it!

Great Inspiration
A good book for Inspiration ONLY will not teach you how to draw. Recommended for the more advanced artists who need new challenges and character ideas, or want to get familiar with different genres of manga, as this book does a great job of explaining them. ;)I LOVED it !!!!

Just Awesome.
The Monster Book of Manga; Boys came with its sister book The Monster Book of Manga; Girls which I have already reviewed but this book is doing all the same for pushing my skills as its sister. I did notice that it was just a bit smaller then the Girls book showing who draws more of what and I would have to agree, haha. None the less it is still an over the top detailed example book for anyone looking for that missing flavor in their artwork. Again it's a great deal for great quality.

Nothing Spectacular
I really wanted to love this book, I really, really did. I've been an avid collector of the How To Draw Manga series, books that have truly helped me with my drawings when I've been in a slump and just not ... Yeah. What those books tended to lack, though, was the male figure. Most of the drawings have a tendency to be of females, and although both their anatomy book and their specific books on the male figure aren't bad, there was just this gaping lack of male inspiration. Then I saw this book on Amazon, and, liking what I was seeing, ordered it.It's not good. Not BAD, just not good. It's ... Okay.

For those who want to draw the guys as well as the girls.
Every girl character ought to have an equally good boy character. So if you're looking for a way to draw a boy character to compliment the character you drew from "Monster Book of Manga: Girls" (or some of the other Ikari Studio books), you oughta go for this book!
