UGEARS 70022 Fire Truck with Ladder Mechanical Wooden Model 3D Puzzle Assembly Kit

This is a challenging project that requires a steady hand and good eyes :-) Not finished yet but it is coming along nicely spend a few hours at a time on the model, when I can. The parts are very cut to very fine tolerances so sometimes are quite tight to fit, don't push too hard as they can break, if you need to loosen up just a very slight rub with the fine emery paper supplied, a bit at a time, don't over do it otherwise the parts will not hold tightly. The instruction on the whole serve their purpose and are fairly easy to follow if you apply common sense and trial and error. Looks the way it is supposed to and is coming along nicely. Oh, and as the headline says, if you have sausage fingers you will struggle as it can be quite fiddly in places.

This is the second model from this manufacturer. I was so impressed by the quality and ingenuity inherent in the kit that I had to buy another. Novices should buy a simpler kit to start with and get used to the construction methods involved. Take your time! These models cannot be rushed, some areas need sanding to ensure a smooth finish for running/movement purposes. Definitely a fantastic product and I will be ordering another one soon.

I am buying these for someone who is off injured from work to keep them from getting bored. The Ugears models are such good quality and challenging to complete. No glue is required, just an emery board and a bit of candle wax. They make nice display pieces when complete.

Christmas presents so don’t know, but all the other models we have brought have been amazing.

Good quality product with some difficulty in the build and care needs to be taken with construction of some pieces.

I have brought a number of these construction kits as presents. They are always appreciated. They are good quality and fit together well. They come with very detailed instructions and the parts are clearly marked with a few spares. Will continue buying just lacking space to display completed kits.
