Good value for two feeders. Large but not too large, sturdy with metal ports and cap. Very pleased.

Bought to provide food for our garden birds during a week away, supplementing our existing feeders with extra capacity. It took several days for our birds to work out how to land on them (they're not hugely bright) but now they are the first choice when all the feeders are filled.

This was a next day-arrived-replacement from a similar feeder with less holes and the 1st birds arrived and took to it within minutes, (see photo). I like that is has 6 holes, and a perch for the little birds. Also that the feeding hole surrounds are a squirrel proof metal. I love also that this feeder has enough holes to satisfy several birds at once, the flock feeders in particular who feed together for security such as sparrows and starlings will appreciate this set-up. I have also had a dunnock and goldfinch feeding on this already. I like to put peanuts in the bottom section and then top it up with mealworms and the no waste mix. Squirrel also stays happy and gets bits on the ground, although it doesn't spill much, and can take the odd nut without nibbling the hole any bigger! Of course there is always the chance that squirrel will lift the lid if given half a chance. But thoughtful set up of the bird station can help prevent any launchings on to the feeder to do this. I haven't had it happen yet. The birds are always on this, so having a spare one is ideal, and I'm happy to buy 2 at the same time as is currently sold here. Cleaning looks no harder or easier than the last one I had. I would highly recommend this feeder.

Fantastic. Since installing it in the backyard, it has provided food for a large population of local and visiting birds. And as the weather got cold, the migratory birds have had a ball. So nice to see all of them recharging for their journey. Set up was easy. Replenishing it with seeds is simple. So far, it has withstood the weather well and see no rust.

I've been using nyjer seed feeders for years and I have gone through many types. I think I like this one the best. I really like that the top, base and perches are metal. I like that the top just lifts up to pour in feed. I've had some metal ones that have a slight screw on to fill but I found that occasionally this fails and the feeder falls. This design makes that impossible. Plus it's so easy to fill. Also I like that there is no wider base at the bottom where seed sometimes lands and messes up, especially when there is a rain. I've also had all plastic ones and they never last too long. I'm sure this one will last longer so, value wise, this is great. It will be a little hard to clean, but they all are. The lesser goldfinches have found it and line up like an apartment house with birds on each perch. They are happy too.

Nice looking and well built bird feeder. Top unscrews to refill seed. Perfect size feeding holes for small finches.

Great for smaller finches. I prefer that holes are only big enough for the nyjer seed and maybe some small millets. Keeps all the larger starlings and crows away. Less seed is spilt or goes moldy because it is more weather tight.

So far only birds are able to get to the seed because the posts are small and there's not much the squirrels can hang onto. Price is good - quality is good. Don't worry, the squirrels have plenty of food from the other squirrel proof feeders that they use as a jungle gym. I recommend this feeder.
