I have had cats who need hygenic clips for various reasons over the years, so I always keep quiet, rechargeable pet clippers on hand. The ones I've had since 2016 are no longer available, nor are the blades, so it was time to find something else. This one got good reviews and a lot of them talked about how quiet this was, so I decided to try it out.Anytime I get new clippers or blades, I usually try them out on my legs first, just to make sure I know how they'll perform on my kitties' sensitive tushies. It gives me first hand knowledge of any sharp angles on the blades, lets me find the best angle, and lets me know how much vibration the product produces when in use. I bought these knowing that my little girl needed a grooming, and was planning the typical adjustment strategies for a new blade and clipper while going through my test, when my kitty amazed me by coming up to me and letting me know she was ready for her clip! iykyk, but this little girl usually provides me a robust session of chase, stretch and cajole before agreeing to this treatment, so the fact she came up to me says a lot about the quietness of this clipper.I don't know enough about clippers to know what is better with this design than the ones I've had before, but I was able to clip her without a guard in less than 5 minutes, where the previous clippers required about 15 minutes to work around all her sensitive areas and get a nice, close clip. I also found it easy to slightly adjust the angle to get a slightly longer clip on her thighs, which we normally keep short to avoid matting. While I absolutely gave my little girl treats for her cooperation, she wasn't irritated with the experience afterwards, like she usually is. I'm so glad to find these so quickly!

This tool was a total lifesaver! My little guy had 3 hard mats on his back. I just wasn’t sure how I’d ever get him to the vet - he is so anxious and hates the carrier or the car, plus we just had to put his sister down so he’s going through enough right now. I looked into home groomers but they were so expensive, and I truly thought he’d end up biting them or clawing their face off. I figured I’d give this a try, with the full expectation he’d bite or claw me, too. It arrived today so I gave it a try - to my total surprise he was not scared AT ALL! This took the mats out incredibly quick but with no fear of scratching him. He sat so patiently and soaked in how good it felt. I am so so so grateful for this tool - I can’t believe we got rid of his mats for less than $20 and right at home!!! Apologies he doesn’t sit still so pictures aren’t easy, but again just shows how easy this was that I could do this while he didn’t sit still.

Worked great. I’ve bought a few in the past that I think were a little strong for shaving our pets this one worked well. Was quiet which I thought was helpful so her pets weren’t as anxious when we were using it. The only reason I’m giving it a four is because I wish that you could use it while it was plugged in to charge. Other than that, it worked really great for us. If you’re not looking to do anything super fancy, I think it was great especially for the price point.

Works better than others ones I've had. I use this the shave my long haired cat. You can put attachments on it but I don't because one the hair will get clumped in the attachment and two my cat has to be shaved pretty low. Easy to use, I've used it about 5 times and the sharpness is still good. The price was perfect for what I got.

I bought this for our indoor outdoor farm kitty. He is an orange kitty with long hair that loves to attract all types of stickers turning into mats. This shaver does exactly what it says and it's very quiet and easy to use and well tolerated.

Expectations exceeded! We have three long-haired cats that mat easily due to an obsession with getting INTO the water dishes. Regular pet clippers don't seem to work. This thing tackled two under arm mats in less than a minute. It's small enough to maneuver around smaller cats with ease. For $18, I'm really impressed! I don't know how long the battery lasts, but it's fine for 10 minutes of touch ups.

These are safe for use near cats sensitive skin. Our long haired cats needed matting removed and I'm grateful for the safety aspect. That said, the speed of these is slooooow. As in it is taking me hours to remove a patch of thick, long wavy matted fur from one of our girls. It's great that it is quiet too as she seems unbothered by the noise. The other cat has straight hair that is not quite so thick and it is faster in that type of hair. I'm charging the shears as I type. I hope to resume again to finish this chore.It would be preferred that these came with a regular charging cord rather than a USB type... This is slow going! Slow speed and slow charging.

I was SO impressed with this. It cut through her hair like butter. I was able to kinda coast over the fluffy bits without needing to keep them taught to cut, and was able to slowly work my way through her very plentiful mats. The tool itself is also very light and easy to hold, and very quiet! Highly recommend.
