Exceptionly well made. This is a very plush sleeping hut for your feathered friend. There are two design issues I would change. Many birds like to use huts and back out to aim their droppings, so I would have the back removable or able to be secured to the bottom for this option. The back does open along with the bottom to wash. The snaps allow to just open the back but not secure it under hut. The other design issue is the plastic that makes the floor stable is visible from the back. Sadly my parrot (picture shown) does chew plastic. Having that1/8 inch of plastic completely covered would have made this hut safe for my bird.So to keep Jasper safe from his normal chewing habits I had to place the hut on top of his cage during the day where he can safely play in it under supervision while the plastic remains hidden. A few words about safety! KNOW your birds habits! Birds that chew material should not have huts made with cloth. There are other non cloth options for those birds. Birds that like to burrow will appreciate a hut to snuggle in. Birds that do not burrow will consider the huts a chew toy! In over four decades of raising and keeping parrots in the family I have never had any issues with using huts. But you must know your birds habits to keep them safe. It is not the seller or manufacturer’s responsibility to do this. High scores for this hut’s size, sturdiness, and safety ( with the cautions I outlined above). This hut comes completely assembled 3 pictures, one of hut sitting on top of cage for daytime play, one of bird I bought this hut for (Indian Ringneck with large size hut) and picture of exposed plastic on back of hut which my bird had already started to chew.!

Okay, yeah these were a little costly but this is quality!! They are machine washable, air dry, they have hidden snaps so the birds don't destroy the hut, they are soft and have a little flat plastic insert on the bottom to provide stability for the base/flooring of the hut. The only thing I wish is that the huts came with small link metal chains. Birds are destructive little critters (at least my love birds are) and they love to pick and mouth everything. I went to Home Depot and purchase small link chains and attached them to the already in place elastic ends and now I have different levels of bird huts in their cage. These are quality huts, that have lasted 4-5 washings and still maintain their shapes and usage. Super cute, my chief complaint is that this a parrot bed-and the way it connects to the cage is by a flimsy elastic band on a metal clip. Parrots are notoriously destructive, a bed needs to have a metal chain and a bar to have any chance of surviving in a cage with birds. Needs a better design.

This is a beautiful pattern and very cozy for my bird. I have a Conyer and when I put this little house hanging in the back corner of his cage, he immediately went inside of it and he has not had a house in over 10 years in his cage. I would pull some of the sheet that’s over his cage from the bottom hanging inside of the cage and he would rest behind that all these years. I am so glad he showed me how much that was what he was missing because he immediately loved it, thank you. Be careful of the size you are looking for. I was hesitant about buying the large for my medium sized parrot, but it turned out to be the exact right size giving him a little head room at the same time but not too small.

My parakeets love this little house so much they’ve began a new sewing project since winter ended and every time we catch them they fly away and stare at me. It’s very soft to the touch! We thought the size was going to be too big for our two parakeets but they both fit. It’s easy to install and it’s very sturdy even when my birds use it to become bats and hang upside down under it. The size looked big but it’s perfect.

This is built really well, my green cheek was scared of it for about three months but he is getting comfortable going in there now- it looks good and feels safe

Very good quality. My quaker parrot Taz loves it and it's easy to clean.
