I love the work of this pair of designers, and their new book did not disappoint. I love color and pattern, so I tend to be very happy when I see good work using color and pattern. As a former designer myself, I HATE the "nuclear winter" look that seems to have taken over the gestalt at the moment.

This book has a definite decorating style that is probably not for everyone. It has some good ideas on how to mix patterns and colors but can be a bit much at times!

I loved this book so much I purchased two more as Christmas gifts. The pictures are beautiful and so inspiring! It makes me want to redecorate my whole house. Perfect for anyone who loves Dorothy Draper and Carleton Varney.

I hesitated when pre-ordering because I wasn't sure with my meager budget I could really get anything out of itWow, I am so glad I have this book. While much of it is for gorgeous, expensive homes. The colors and refreshing ideas are a perfect inspiration for my little farmhouse. Bravo.

Great coffee. very precise piece of equipment. Thermos keeps water hot for 8 hrs. Note it is not boiling temperature. just hot. I wish there is a setting to adjust the temperature to boiling

Every chapter is a total delight. I love the decorating sensibility of these guys. It made me rethink using patterns. Love it. Read it cover to cover.

Unfortunately this book didn’t live up to expectations. I was hoping for a book which would really explain how to put prints together, why “a” works and “b” doesn’t etc. The advice is v high level and it’s basically the authors promoting their own fabric range. Their style is definitely not to my taste, I’d go as far as to say ghastly. If I came home to find my house decorated like this I’d be in hysterics! Think the absolute worst of the UK post war mixed in with American kitsch.

"If you want neutral ... move to Switzerland" is the motto of this fun-loving pair of decorators. Explosions of colour! SO much fun to read. At the same time ... they also have a section on how to use more subdued patterns to create a serene environment. I pull out this book when I need something to cheer me up ... something to remind me that Beige has not, in fact, taken over the entire world.
