after a year of usage, the printer fails to connect via wifi (and through wired connection) ... despite resetting and trying many things, it still doesn't work. the toner cartridges also require the hp ones which are very expensive and have a smart chip to lock out cheaper supplies. A money trap that is now trash. Normally HP printers used to be built tough and long-lasting so this one is a major disappointment.

I bought this printer/copier just so I can make scan & make copies, but I have to have it connect to the internet in order for HP or whoever wants me to buy toner cartridges. This is a rip off don't purchase no way to opted out. The of course bury the internet connection problem in the fine print. This HP+ printer only works with original HP toner and requires an HP account and internet connection.
