Does what it is meant to do
I have been after a NVME enclosure for a while but finally had to get one in order to duplicate a laptop NVME stick in order to increase the size.Worked 1st time, as it was meant to, was very fast, no problems.

What to do with spare M.2 NVMe SATA SSD after you've upgraded.
ORICO M.2 NVMe SATA SSD Enclosure Adapter Tool-Free, USB C 3.2 Gen 2 10GbpsNow that you've upgraded your SSD, what do you do with the old one. You buy this lovely little enclosure. The SSD can be fitted in seconds, no tools required, not little screws to fit and no need to worry about how long the SSD is, they all fit. Just slide off the top cap, slide off the middle, fit the SSD, retain it with a rubber plug, fit the heat sink, slide it all back together, and there you are. Oh! the USB cable C to A but you can slide off the A to make it C to C.To date I've bought 3 of these.

Great value, nice solid build, fast.
I paired this with a Western Digital Black SN770 1TB M.2 2280 NVME SSD. Took a couple of minutes to assemble.Plugged into my 2020 MacBook Air's Type C port, I get steady read/write speeds exceeding 800 MB/s, occasionally topping 900 MB/s.Consdidering these two cost me just over £70, I reckon that's excellent overall value. The Orico enclosure appears to be well made, with a nice metal body, easy tool-free installation, and a spare rubber NVME card retention standoff. Some of the alternative enclosures appear to suffer from problems with standoffs being the wrong height and/or the integrated heatsink/cover design not being thought through properly, making them hard to install over the thermal pad.Not here, this one's so good that I'll probably get another one.

Effective. Worked straight away without any fuss or bother.
This let me easily upgrade my laptop by inserting the new 1Tb SATA SSD in to here first to install the operating system. I was then able to re-format the old SATA 256Gb and install it permanently into this enclosure for use as a spare storage drive.

It's a solid enough enclosure
This is a nvme m.2 enclosure that does exactly what it is meant to do. The usb C to usb C with adapter is very helpful to have and seems quite durable, my only complaint overall would be the length of the cable, if your usb is halfway up the pc it will need to hang there due to length of the cable.(Does not come with an m.2 and clearly says this in the description)
