The Kingdom of God Bible Storybook - Old and New Testament Box Set Review: Clearly and Accurately presented Bible Stories that are engaging for all ages! - This is a wonderful Bible story bookfor children, young and old! The beautiful illustrations captivate the little ones and the stories are written in an easy-to-understand, but accurate and engaging way. (It's so difficult to find accurate Bible stories for kids that are not watered down so much they lose the gospel thread). When I'm reading with my littles, the older ones often plop down to listen too. Thank You for this wonderful resource! Review: So excited to get these! - Had our eye on these for a while for our family and we finally got them a little before Valentine’s Day :) my 2 and half year old daughter is asking to read the Bible daily (we keep our at our table) and these have been another great way to incorporate some visuals for the Word :) she asks for reading the “Jesus is the King bible” and sits and goes through the pages herself at our table while I’m preparing our upcoming meal, she’ll ask what’s happening in the pictures at times and I’ll read them to her :) it’s exciting to see how much she is absorbing as we go through the pages and seeing her wanting to find out more.. these Books are beautiful and I am already wanting to give them out as gifts for our family and friends - had an idea to give to the grandparents for some heirloom pieces and great times to read the grandkids :) maybe this grandparents day or next Christmas :)

Beautiful books
These children's books are easy to read, beautifully illustrated, and scripturally accurate. A joy to share with my children and sure to be handed down to the next generation. Quality craftsmanship.

Absolutely love this set
Homeschool Mama here. We do these short Bible stories each morning. Followed by the questions and prayer at the end of each story. I have twin 7-year-olds and they love listening, looking at the pictures, and answering the questions. This has upped our Bible time immensely.

Completely satisfied
The best Bible story book for children that I’ve seen. My 21 month old daughter loves this book. The illustrations and the compositions are more colorful, dynamic, and engaging than what I’ve seen in many other popular books. The words are closer to biblical language and do not inject flowery, “soft” language about God into the story. This particular set comes with OT and NT books and is a great find. I’m completely satisfied with this purchase. Can’t wait to get more from this author/illustrator!

It is amazing. Beautifully written and illustrated. A good amount of detail - our 5 year old is entranced, our almost-4-year old enjoys. The theme of Jesus as Saviour and King runs through so helpfully - it is biblical theology in a kids Bible! This helps it to focus on what is most important - for example, in some kids Bibles the book of Judges is a story of miracles… but that misses the point of that book. This kids Bible correctly makes the point of the book of judges the spiral of sin and its consequences, then rescue, repeat… ultimately showing the need for the king. In other words the book is beautifully sensitive to the true message of each part of the Bible, and brings it out really well, showing how each chapter of salvation history points to Jesus. I’m pretty excited that 5 year olds will get to be brought up on this! I do have a few criticisms… 1. Dinosaurs are pictured near Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. This locks the book into a young earth view, which I don’t think is demanded by the text of Genesis. 2. Sometimes the vocabulary is a bit too advanced. Eg “it was credited to him as righteousness” without any explanation. I like that it is close to the original text though. I am so happy with this purchase and our kids love it. They ask for more, more, more

We love it! The Bible narrative is presented clearly and is fun to read as a family. Readability is 10/10. We also love the review questions at the close of each chapter. The book casing is also beautiful, and the quality of the books and pages is nice. Highly recommend!

This is probably the best children’s story bible out there. The pictures are just wonderful and the stories beautifully told. My 9 year old son is on his second read through already. I know they’re pricey but they’re definitely an investment piece for the bookshelf. And would definitely be worth it to hand down to other children. I plan to hang on to these for my grandchildren!

I am extremely happy with the quality of these books (including the binding and imagrey). The theology from a quick look through also looks sound, and I love the way its in a story format to help children remember the big picture of scripture. Love that it’s Canadian as well!

I wanted to Inquire about the discrepancy mentioned by a comment here so I emailed Lithos Kids the following: "I just purchased The Kingdom of God books. A comment on Amazon said that there is an error on page 150 of the old testament, where it says God told Moses to strike the rock but in The Bible he specifically told him to speak to the rock and it will bring forth water (Numbers 20:8). I checked the book I received & it did in fact have this an error on page 150." Below is their quick response: "Thanks for reaching out! We appreciate you sending this and are happy to clear up any confusion. It's a story in Exodus 17:6, not Numbers, where God told Moses to strike the rock. Later, in Numbers (20:8) God told him to speak to the rock, and Moses struck it instead." The reason I posted this is to help clear up any confusion. I'm so thankful for these books.
