Work great
My ADH pup would not respond to other collars with stubby contacts - this one got his attention. Purchased a Dogtra brand collar to use them on as most collars either don't have replaceable contact points, or the screw shaft was not the right diameter.

Works for Golden Retrievers
Perfect fit on the Dogtra TB dual. Gets through the double-coat of a Golden. I bought both the 1 inch and 3/4. The 3/4 is the one for my overcoated Golden as well as for the slick coated Golden. The 1 inch is too long. Even with the collar just snug he is scratching at the collar often enough to have me checking the fit constantly. Too be honest it's a rare day the dogs get shocked. They have years of experience with the tone, vibrate and stimulus. Vibrate does the job. Just putting the collars on does the job. When hunting season starts, and the opportunity to misbehave increases, I will update as necessary. If you have a long coated dog, buy these 3/4 points. the photo has the standard, 3/4 & 1" Left to right on the bottom row.

great for dogs with thick neck coat
I wasn't sure if these would be too intrusive. Actually, perfect my my thick fur necked boy. Was able to lower the e collar with new prongs

I thought the collar wasn't working!
I've read reviews about Dogtra e collars being temperamental about working, but I decided to try longer prongs. My almost ten month old German Shepherd is definitely on the ADHD side, but he has very thick fur! These extension prongs did the trick! The boy is now aware of the potential to be corrected and so he tries me less. I am very happy with these points and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone with a longer or thicker furred canine! Well worth the money!

Only worked 50% of the time
I have a German shepherd and this only worked about 50% of the time. I had the collar as tight as it could go without choking my dog out and still it would rarely work. Highly suggest a different option for thick fur.

How easy it is to have access to product.
Used this product on my dog because one of the dogs has longer hair than the other. It works great. So I might just get order the 1" and use the 3/4" on my other dog. Thanks!

No tool comes with the items or instructions using a common tool.
I have not been able to use the item since I cannot find any tool that I can use to remove the current ones and install the new ones. Certainly for the price a small wrench or other tool could be included or instructions recommending a household tool. So at this point, all I can say is that I received the item in a timely manner.
