Is it suitable for 4yr old?

Absolutely! It’s suitable for any age, but please be aware that my son, who is only 15, managed to snap one of the plastic bits of his in a rugby match a few weeks ago. Very disappointing. Even more disappointing is that Optimum didn’t contact me to offer a replacement!

Does the ball balance well on the tee? It doesn't look like it has much 'grip' on the ball, especially if windy.

My son hasn't complained about it and I haven't noticed that it falls off in the wind, maybe it depends on the ball size. He is age 15 and uses the ball for that age group

What packaging does it come in? Plastic bag or box? Wondering if it will make a decent gift or seem a bit cheap.

From memory it comes packaged in a cardboard box. My young lad loves it of his rugby kicking practice.

Good entry kicking tee. Had several for our team. Only issue is the ball supports aren’t durable. Most are down to 3 after a couple months use.

First use by a 12 year old and one of the teeth broke, worth noting tee is made of hard plastic rather than rubber.
