I bought this as a back up but I ended up liking it better than the one I was using and now use this one full time. The only thing I don’t like about it and took some time to get used to is you have to hand the lanyard at the bottom. When you have it on your neck and you grab it to talk it can be confusing if you’re use to the tall button being at the top when you grab it. Took me some time to get used to that. Had a few embarrassing mimesis. Other than that the device is great and you can’t beat the price. Update: I had this item less than 2 months and it suddenly quit working. Battery was fully charged, tried turning off and on and still did not work. Probably a defective battery of item. I still recommend. I just returned it and am waiting on a refund but I’m considering still buying the same one and give it another chance. Hoping I just had a defective one.

Great product, works perfectly

Been a Lary since 2014. Tried them all: TEP, Griffin Lab Electronarnyx, UtraVoice. This product, in my opinion is Not Much better. Had It for a year then Iet it went totally out . Does not work. I am not new to these devices having owned for 11 years. Knew what to do on my end when problems arise. It just died with no warning. Will not charge, nor operate. Would like company to replace it at no charge to me due to last my less than two years. Up to the company what type of review l write and post. Not a threat but a promise from a very frustrated consumer. I biggest gripe is that they only have a phone number for customer service. Now that being said, if the product no longer works, how do l speak to customer service??? Was a "phone number only" for customer that well thought out...l don't think so.!!! I could send an email but alias they did not offer an email....only a phone number. Come on folks, was this deliberate so l would hopefully go away???! Sorry company. But after 35 years of dealing with the public in a retail environment, l can and will become a thorn in someone's side for not giving me an option for customer service ....assumimg no one is available to speak for me, which is my case. All l am asking is for the availability to communicate with the company without the ability nor need to speak. Balls in their court now. I expected better from a veteran owned Texas company. I can be very forgiving or.....Not....let me hear from the ROMET CONPANY SOON OR I WILL PROCEED to communicate with prospective customers through text,b which l believe l am Fair at. I am most pleased with the Romet R120 and R700 artifical larynxes. I have been a laryngectomee for 15+ years, have used several different artificial larynxes (manufacturers), and Romet’s products are far superior in terms of overall voice quality, battery life and ease of use as compared to their competitors. To summarize, I am 100% satisfied with my purchases and recommend them to anyone in the need of an artificial larynx. John R.
