It's not magic, but it sure feels like it sometimes.
I was hesitant to believe a lot of the hype around glass files for modeling. With some costing upwards of 40USD, it felt like a lot of the praise was likely justifying an expensive tool purchase. I picked up the Siren because it wasn't eye wateringly expensive, and honestly, I get the hype now. It's not a perfect product or a magic bullet, however it is a very, very useful modeling tool with a little bit of practice. The good: It leaves a very smooth finish and, thanks likely to it being solid glass without padding, you get a lot of feedback while sanding. I'm not sure how else to describe it, but it's very easy to feel when you're through the nub and scraping the surface below. Despite leaving a smooth surface and feeling very high grit, it doesn't take much effort to remove even relatively large nubs. On flat surfaces, it might as well be magic. A few back-and-forths and it's like the nub was never there. I have large hands, but I didn't find the file hard to hold or slippery and it's pleasingly light. The meh: Curved surfaces I still found myself grabbing the hobby knife so I could see what I was doing better. With a little practice, I was able to get relatively consistent with not flat-spotting rounded surfaces, but it's still a flat file and you will make flat spots if you're not paying attention. It also lets out a lot of dust, likely thanks to the fine grit. It's noticeably more than a normal file. I found myself needing to blow dust off parts fairly frequently, but whatever, sanding plastic makes dust. The bad: I'm going to be honest, it's hard to get it 100% clean and it fills up fast, so that's even more of a problem. The small size makes getting into corners easier, but it means the file starts to fill up after less than an hour of modeling. It's trivial to get it sort of clean, often just running your finger over it will pull out of a lot of the dust. But you need to do more than run it under hot water and scrub it to get it entirely clean. You would think with how much dust it kicks out that it would clog up a little more slowly, but unfortunately not.Overall, I think this is a great product, especially for the price. The caveats are minor and can mostly be worked around and as a result, it's staying in my normal rotation for assembly and painting tools. I may grab another one with a different tip profile, and to extend the time I get before needing to go to the sink and clean it.

I prefer the "dotted" style generic nano-file
I have used this on polymer clays and epoxy (worked great) and resin (not so much, too soft I guess). I got this at the same time as a $1.50 generic nano glass file. This has straight line grooves, while the generic has a dotted pattern, which I find to be more versatile (can sand in any direction effectively). Tip for cleaning: after rinsing, use some blue tack-type wall adhesive to pull out the material that is stuck in the grooves.

Game changer
This little file, made my model building much more enjoyable. Removes nubs with ease, without taking much of the surrounding plastic. Small enough to get into most areas, big enough to be easily controlled. One thing of note, is that it will polish the plastic to a shine. This is no problem if you are top-coating/painting it. I just used a slightly rougher sanding sponge to get the factory finish back. Overall, this thing is awesome, and worth every penny.

There is only one file in the box
I haven’t it used it yet, but I was disappointed to find only one file in the box when all the pictures show two files.
