Quiet, Efficient, and Great Value
Build quality is excellent, with a solid feel and attention to detail you’d expect from Noctua. Installation was straightforward, and the included low-noise adapter means it’s even quieter if you don’t need full speed. Compared to more generic case fans, the NF-P14s feels like a premium part without a huge price jump. The design might be a bit plain if you’re going for RGB flair, but for pure performance and silence, it’s hard to beat.

Great fans from a great company
Performance The Redux range of fans aims to have something available for everyone. They come in multiple sizes, all with 3-pin and 4-pin options and their unique design allows them to offer a great deal of airflows with the least amount of noise they can. Obviously, the higher the RPM, the noisier the fan will be but unfortunately for us, smaller fans will need this to output a sufficient amount of air. The Redux range is also designed to help cool cases and/or radiators thanks to their unique design. During my testing, I was blown away by the amount of airflow they created and the 120/140mm fans while audible, weren’t overly noisy or irritating. Noctua is known for performance and the Redux range is nothing short of Noctua’s reputation. Design Noctua took fans concerns over their original colour scheme into mind and as such, the consumer market was offered the Redux range of fans which as we have seen, are grey on grey and come in multiple sizes. One of the things I was happy to see was a round version of the 140mm and while it would have been nice to see something similar in the smaller sizes, it’s understandable why Noctua didn’t make those as well. The Redux range is designed to Noctua’s high-standards and come backed by a 6-year warranty if you had any concerns about Noctua’s engineering. Value These are definitely not the cheapest fans on the market and we wouldn’t want them to be. When you make cheaper more budget stuff, something has to get cut somewhere and it is normally the quality of the product. Noctua products offer good value for the money through their amazing performance, which again, is backed by a 6-year warranty. Value is very subjective as I always say, but as long as you don’t take it to mean budget than the Noctua Redux fans offer great value, plain and simple. Disclaimer: I received this fans in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Quiet
Great replacement for the original "quiet fans" that came with my pc case. The originals sounded like a Chinook taking off while I was rendering video, these Noctua fans barely speed up while performing the same task. Very quiet.

True silence, amazing performance
I used two of these to replace a pair of Corsair SP140 LED fans in my NZXT S340, having already replaced the exhaust and CPU cooler fan (Hyper 212 Evo) with similar 120mm Noctua Redux fans a few months ago. No more whine or vibration noise, in fact no noise at all even when running near max. They might not have any flashy lights, but the two-tone grey look is really nice and will fit well with almost any colour scheme. My GPU temps have dropped by 5C as these fans move serious air even at lower RPMs. I couldn't be happier. If you want a silent computer without compromising on cooling performance, these are a no brainer. Sure they are more expensive than some other fans, but you get what you pay for. I will probably run these until they break, which I doubt they ever will. Noctua have certainly earned their reputation in my eyes.

The fan is very well built, quiet in operation and has a very nice two tone grey finish.
The fan is very well built and has a very nice two tone grey finish. In operation, subjectively, the fans are very quiet. As with any fans it does get audibly loud at and near the maximum RPM. The bearings seem to be of very high quality as I can see this fan keep spinning long after other fans from different manufacturers have stopped when I switch off the PC. The screws which came with the fan seems to have some sort of deformity - two of the four were impossible to fit - and are of very poor quality. Not sure why Noctua decided to cut corners here as it is a fly in the ointment for what would otherwise have been an excellent package. (I have instead mounted the fan using Akasa's rubber fan mounts.) The item arrived promptly from the manufacturer / distributor in a well padded envelope.

You definitely get what you pay for
Noctua has apparently a legendary reputation when it comes to quiet, efficient performance - and I can see why! These fans are noticeably quieter than the ones that came with my computer, and the colouring is worlds ahead of Noctua's usual range of "disgusting brown" fans. This Redux fan has two advantages over Noctua's normal range from what I see: - The colour of them is awesome and fits in with my build much better - The pricing is a lot more acceptable - while some users want the best of the best, I'm not prepared to sell my soul for Noctua's top of the range fans... Overall, you get the quality and reliability of Noctua's fans, without the huge price tag. Works for me!

Noctuas never disappoint
Silent and effective. Good quality as you'd expect from Noctua.

I was having an issue with my PC overheating and shutting down, despite running a tiny graphics card. I installed 3 of these fans (2 intake on front of case, 1 output on top + 1 more output on top that was original to case). Computer hasn't shut off since and the fans are ridiculously quiet they also just feel like a good quality fan, the plastic doesnt feel cheap.

Nothing much to be said. It’s a great product from a really nicely engineered product. Very quiet. Top quality.

For the last 15 years of building PCs, case fans were more or less an afterthought for me. I either used what the case came with, or if necessary, added some cheapo fans I had lying around. Throughout the years I've become much pickier about how my system sounds both at idle and under load. This is where these fans come in. I'm currently doing a major upgrade on my current rig which started with the purchase of a Lian Li Lancool II mesh. To go along with it I purchased a couple of Noctua 140mm fans for the front intake and moved the 3 stock fans to the rear of the case. When I first fired the system up I was a bit disappointed. While the case itself is great, I noticed a bit of a clicking or grinding noise, even at idle. After making sure nothing was making contact with any of the fan blades, I started unplugging fans one by one. Surprise surprise, all the noise vanished after disconnecting all the stock Lian Li fans and leaving the Noctuas connected. Within a couple days I had some more Noctua fans and chucked the Lian Li fans in the spare parts bin. Again, these fans may not make a huge temperature difference vs other fans, but they maintain excellent thermal performance while being virtually silent at idle and very pleasant-sounding even at their max of 1200RPM. Bear in mind there is a point of diminishing returns with fans. If you don't care about a bit of extra noise, 2 or 3 of the higher RPM versions of this fan will be more than enough to cool most systems comfortably while being unobtrusive to most people, especially headphone users. I'm a little strange, so in total I have about 8 Noctua fans including the NH-D15S stock fan, all running at very conservative speeds to keep the noise down and it's mind blowing how quickly air moves through this system relative to how quiet it is. Make no mistake, most of Noctuas products are aimed at enthusiasts and priced accordingly. These fans are different. They're cheaper than a lot of fans from reputable competitors like Scythe, Corsair and Arctic, while being much nicer looking than the OG Noctua brown fans and often way quieter at all RPMs. In spite of being cheaper and not having Noctua's latest and greatest engineering inside, these redux fans are lightyears ahead of most case fans out there. If you hate the way your case fans sound and don't care about RGB bling factor, these are an excellent option. Chances are, these fans will probably outlast the system they're cooling.
