What is the size of the frame of the inlet and inlet itself?

The outside measurement of the frame is 21cm wide x 20cm high. The inside measurement of the frame (therefore the size of the hole you will need to cut in the pool liner) is 15cm wide x 14.2cm high. Hope this helps....

Yes intex hoses fit this skimmer you just need a jubilee Clip, I used a stainless steel one. I’ve got the skimmer fitted to my intex pool. Although I’ve upgraded my pump from the one originally supplied to a larger intex one. So although my hoses are intex they might not be the same ones that come with your intex pool. There are some helpful Youtube Videos on fitting them to your pool, I recommend watching some of them before attempting fitting. Hope this was helpful.

I fit this to my above ground pool. It uses 1.5 pipes. I highly recommend this skimmer.

Will this work with a 16ft intex pool with existing hose connections or do you need adaptors?

Yes, you simply need to cut a hole in your liner, fit the skimmer and route the skimmer outlet through your existing pump. Have a look on You Tube, there are a good number of video posted showing how to fit a Hayward Skimmer…it’s a brilliant piece of kit.
