Just received these. So far so good. They fit well, they look good, they are lightweight, well-made and are extremely comfortable. Cleverly packaged to minimise size; they do not arrive particularly creased, some creases are to be expected after all. I am delighted and have immediately ordered another pair. The expanding waistband is amazing. I think they are good value for money. Time will tell on durability. They certainly appear rainproof. I love them.

Needed a new pair of walking trousers and these are decent enough. They are very comfortable and fit well . The material is very lightweight so they will be less suitable for winter wear but ideal for warmer weather.

So far no issues. Size was good. I did order o e size up just in case. As I ordered late before our holiday. The size is not a bad fit, I a M&S 36" waist, I ordered 38" in this brand and there is a little extra room but the.fit is quite good. The reason it was all very last minute, When I went looking for a lightweight pair of smart hiking trousers to wear on our holiday in plus 40 degrees.heat. I found a pair of similar trousers in a North Face shop, they did not have my size, so I ordered on line directly from the North Face online store, with around 10 days left till we flew out. When the North Face trousers arrived they were missing the waist fasteners and the zip pocket was poorly sewn and really gathered/bunches up. In fact the quality of the trousers was really poor. I sent them back and then found these on Amazon. Not only were they less than a 1/3 of the price of the North Face pair, they were clearly much better made. They look reasonably smart, so I am able to wear them out to dinner, without my wife rolli g her eyes and making that face, yer guys you know the one.

I am a touring motorcyclist and all gear is a logistical consideration - the secret is layers, not heavy single pieces. These trousers are exactly as described and are absolutely fantastic. Sizing ------- I am 6 foot tall, weigh 90kg and have a 34" waist and 32" inside leg. I ordered the 34" pair and they fit perfectly. They are not tight, but they are also not a tent. they are comfort cut, I guess! Material & build quality ---------- The material is an incredibly thin, stretchy, nylon. Great for summer, fine for autumn and winter when combined with base layers. They are not waterproof. This is not an issue for me as I don't ever buy over priced waterproof gear that ALWAYS fails. Instead, I have a quality lightweight waterproof 2 piece shell. The build quality is also very good. There are no loose threads. All stitching is complete and looks sturdy. I am ok with the velcro on the back pockets - GBP35 I am not going to complain. Why I am recommending these for motorcyclist ------------------------------------------------------- As motorcyclists know, all riding gear is heavy and hot when off the bike. I like to change into something more practical but the demands for any kit carried are as follows. 1. Very lightweight. 2. Robust material. 3. Quick drying. 4. Versatile (Style and use). 5. Not make rider look like a twat. 6. Comfortable. 7. Easy to wash. These trousers are all of the seven points above and...they are stretchy too making them exceedingly comfortable. I've just ordered another pair as these are so light, they roll down into a very small pack meaning I can add them to my full-on touring gear which, for 7 days, has only two of everything I need as everything can be washed in the shower, and dried the next day. The light, practical belt was a plus too. I hope my review helps inform your decision either way.

Hyper stretchy. Not what I was hoping for as any object like mobile phone will drag down the pocket. Too many velcro pockets instead of zippers Very lightweight indeed. Quick drying and comfy to wear. Quality super flimsy. Shame for that price you can get much better from Decathlon

Why did you choose this product over others?: Wanted wider leg room rather than tighter pants - and zip off - and stretch - fit perfectly - a little pricey , hence 4 stars . Very pleased with the trousers .

Perfect for the current heat wave. Very cool,very light. Comfortable. Not a huge fan of the elastic waist and the belt hoops are a little small. Think they are a little pricey but if they were cheaper, they would be spot on

After searching for several years for a replacement pair of convertible hiking pants these fit the bill; exceeded my expectations; the material is lightweight & stretchy; I have a hard to fit body—broad across the beam & short legs—these fit better than all others; my only complaint is that the fly zipper is too short making access difficult; will be buying another pair soon; note that there is no zipper at the bottom of the pants legs that facilitates removal lower leg removal; not sure that once removed, they can be reattached w/out taking off your pants;
