Initial reviews I saw at first had me a bit concerned because they showed it was wobbly and one customer had a warped shelf board. Luckily mine did not come warped, and the beams and shelf itself are super weighty. Very strong steel 👍.After building it and putting my model kits on it, it is actually fine. Yes it wobbles a little on mine but if they can put another support beam on the sides of the shelf it would be more. When I shake my desk, it does not wobble at all, partly because I have a sit stand desk with a 1 inch very heavy board.The instructions say to assemble the frame first and then put the board in but I find that attaching the metal back piece to the shelf itself first makes it easier. And then side frames then tighten everything at the end. You dont want to overtighten everything cause the fitting is a bit off so leave some room for adjustment.

Overall, this is a good product. As Expected, it is a bit wobbly, due to it's height. With a 22 pound weight limit, it is a good shelf for Knick knacks. It does dress up my whole Vivo desk setup.

The media could not be loaded. The predrilled holes in the wooded shelf do not line up with the holes in the metal crossbar.I have tried other configuration options such as flipping the wooden shelf, hoping the holes would line up. But they did not.I will need to drill new tiny holes into the wooded shelf, likely causing issues with the shelf integrity and weight capacity.I would rather have my money back, but that’s also a hassle since I have already destroyed the packing material and box. That was a mistake.

I bought this Overhead Desk Shelf / Raised Desktop Organizer in hopes of optimizing my workspace, but my experience with this product has left me frustrated and feeling ripped off.The lack of quality in this desk shelf is downright appalling. Every interaction with it, even a mere brush against the table it's attached to, results in violent shaking. The shoddy construction is a prime example of substandard Chinese-made products infiltrating the market.My initial plan was to place my modest 4lb computer speakers on the shelf, but as soon as I attempted this, the shelf bent forward, showcasing its inability to support even the most lightweight items. Needless to say, I wouldn't dare to risk the safety of my speakers, or keyboard below them with such a precarious surface.What truly grinds my gears is the audacity of the price tag for this piece of junk. A product with such abysmal quality should never cost more than $10, even in today's market. I feel as if I've thrown my money away on a completely useless item.In conclusion, the Clamp-on Overhead Desk Shelf / Raised Desktop Organizer is an infuriating disappointment that has left me regretting my purchase. I strongly advise against anyone considering this product as a solution for their storage needs. It's a total waste of money, with zero redeeming qualities.

My office purchased standing desks for everyone and we were all alloted a budget for storage. I purchased another clamp on shelf for my standing desk and it was a nightmare to assemble. And then after all of the work of assembling it I found out I keep my monitors too high for it to work so I gave it to another co-worker. I purchased this one because it was a lot higher. It was a lot easier to assemble and works perfectly for my desk. When you move the desk it shakes a little as to be expected. But I haven't had anything fall off yet so it's not that big of an issue.

I was so excited to find this shelf. I have a VIVO electric sit stand desk and this fit perfectly, although you can clearly use it on any desk. Its sturdy and excellent for added storage at my desk.
