This is by far the best can opener I've owned.Heavy Duty Can Opener is right, emphasis on the HEAVY, This can opener has a good weight to it compared to others I've owned. The grip feels very comfortable but holds solidly to the can. This can opener just snaps into place with ease. I found no need to angle the can opener before placing it onto the can before turning the knob as I have with some other models. The turning knob is also very smooth and quick as well. Sometimes doesn't even feel like I'm doing any cutting it's so smooth.I liked the one I purchased so much that I bought one for my mom too. Her old can opener was a bit worn/rusty and her arthritis wasn't making things any better when she wanted to open a can. She liked this can opener so much she didn't want to use it at first. This can opener worked so much better than her old one that she thought it's too expensive for everyday use, like fine china you only bring out for guests. She's over it now and cans are getting opened left and right.Highly recommended!

Can openers seem to be hit or miss as far as quality goes, but I like this can opener. It has a nice feel to it when you hold it and clamp it down on a can. It seems to cut into cans easily and turns without much effort. I've used it on several different sized cans with equal success. Good quality for the price.

I purchased this opener because my wife & I started having problems opening cans with our old one because of arthritus. This one looked like it would work & it does. Both the griping & turning handles are comfortable. The blade cuts well and the handle turns smooth as silk. It is well worth the money and looks like it will give us years of service

I bought this can opener to replace my old one. This one looks very nice and looks durable but it broke very soon after I bought it. Now it doesn't work at all. There is a small plastic part behind the gear that grips the can that has broken. I am very disappointed that this product only lasted a few short months. I'd recommend shopping elsewhere for a can opener. :-(

We've been searching for a durable can opener. At first this seemed to fit the bill perfectly, steady cutting and easy turning. Unfortunately, after three months the wheel stopped engaging. We can puncture the can lid, but the cutter won't advance around the lid. In the trash it goes, and we'll never buy from this manufacturer again.

We have been struggling with a very worn out can opener with a small crank for years- this can opener has a very nice, big crank handle, is built like a Sherman Tank, and opens cans like a champ. Recommended!

It is simply great. Delivery was swift. THe handle is large enough not to hurt your hand. Great buy but time will tell.I have had this unit about 6 months. At first, worked great but after a short period of time, started to rust and the wheels binds making turning difficult. I would not recommend this unit, Period.

It keeps on popping off the can lid. I've tried giving it a death grip and it still pops off. This is the only one of my can openers that gives me issues. Other than that it seems decent quality. I'll have to do some investigating why it keeps popping off.
