Makes a quick healthy very tasty meal.
Jar packaged extremely well, also had plastic seal covering lid. Added one and a half teaspoons with a teaspoon of sugar in 175 mls of water - added to my STIR FRY. Very very tasty. Makes for a quick authentic tasting sauce. First time using this as I am experimenting with cooking easy Chinese /Asian food. Definately a keeper. Thank you!

Ken Hom ingredient
Bought this as it was an ingredient needed for a Ken Hom recipe. Could not buy this from the local shops. Glad Amazon sold this. Made all the difference for the meal. Will be looking to buy again

This is a must have for my cook
I have used this source all most 20 years. The Black Bean Garlic Sauce can keep long time as it has garlic. It’s salty, but it is for small amount to use. I only add one and half spoon of this source to what I cook, such as aubergine fire with tend meet, such as chicken meat cooked with green peppers. Every dish if added with this source it always delicious. My husband also loves it.

Safety cap popped and leaked product
The taste is perfect and it’s what it should be. I think the people who are complaining have their thoughts mixed up with Korean black bean paste. Anyway, I’m happy with the product itself, but one of them came damaged, the lid popped and was leaking. I checked the inside and assumed it got damaged during the delivery, but since I see similar comments, they should do a better job wrapping and protecting the product.

Goes a long way
Ok, so I bought this jar 368g of Black Bean Sauce with Garlic in the hope that it was the concentrated version as the pictures on the listing are a bit unclear compared to the pictures on the smaller sized jar from the same maker and I'm happy to say it is. There is no guidance or instructions on the jar whatsoever so do be aware that you only need a tablespoon or so of the paste along with some stock, sugar and cornflour to make a fantastically tasty sauce.

Love this, great for chicken in black bean but a little goes a long way, use sparingly then add more if you need it, I keep mine in the fridge now it is open, keeps well but will probably need another one quite soon, great authentic flavour
