I sent for this because I'm off to Barcelona soon (the bag slashing capital of Europe, apparently!). It appears to be very well designed from the point of view of security, with wire mesh between the layers of fabric, secure zips and an anti-scan pocket to keep your cards safe from being cloned among the security features. It's big enough to take your tablet computer and all the usual things one would wish to carry, but not so big as to be cumbersome. There are also exterior mesh pockets for your water bottle and brolly. I got the black one, but there are other colours too. It looks reasonably stylish - don't suppose Victoria Beckham will be carrying one, but then she's probably got her own bodyguard! We will see how it works out in Barcelona. Hopefully, its security features will not be but to the test, and it will just be a useful way to carry my stuff. I'm pleased with the purchase!

I bought this after being on a group holiday with someone who had one. This is a roomy and very secure bag with numerous pockets to help keep me organised . I was a little concerned that the security catches on the zips would be a problem as I have arthritis in my hands and they have little grip. I am delighted that I can manage them with ease. It is light in weight and holds everything I need for a day out ( and that can mount up!).I purchased the bag in black and love it so much I am thinking of also getting it in a colour for everyday use.

My wife bought this handbag as a secure place to store her purse during a trip to Rome (since we had read all of the negative reports about the prevalence of pickpockets over there), and was very pleasantly surprised by the size of the bag. It's large enough to take purse, phone, hairbrush, perfumes and all the other things that she normally carries around, but small enough to still be unobtrusive.Since it met all carrying requirements, she has been using the bag that was originally bought just for security on a specific trip as her "go-to" bag, used day in and day day out for the past two months. The security features are a fantastic bonus on an already excellent bag.

Smaller than expected. I was going to use this as my personal item when flying for all the stuff I use on a flight but I don’t think it will be big enough. My iPad Pro doesn’t fit and my Bose headphones would struggle to fit along with other daily things. I have take a few pictures for scale. Nice quality though I will pack it in my case to use whilst on holiday although the anti theft feature will not be tested in Greece as it’s a very safe country to visit.I may also use it for work

This is my 2nd Travelon bag, & I have recommended the brand to many people. A substantial sized bag to take on holiday & carry everything you need for a day out, safe in the knowledge that, particularly if worn cross-body, it is about the most secure bag you will find. Travelon seem to have thought of everything, but with this design I really like that there are 2 expanding pockets for water bottles, umbrella etc (my other bag only has one). Also the strap not only extends to a really long length, but is very comfortable & doesn't dig in to your shoulder or neck, even when you've got a lot in it. I will definitely but more from the Travelon range.

Excellent bag. I travel a lot with work and I get increasingly paranoid about my handbag and pickpockets. This is a lightweight stylish bag, which can have the strap shortened to handbag length or made long for a shoulder bag.My 2 reservations are:1) the front pocket with zip, it requires fiddly fingers to clip the zip onto the D ring. You need to pull it and move the other zip. I added a keyring to this pocket so I can use that as like an extension whilst still keeping the safety feature.2) My iPad pro 12.9 doesn't fit in it BUT that's on me, I should have read the specs properly!! I've kept the bag as its so functional aside from that. This hasn't affected the 5 star rating I've given as the bag is just brill.

A great, handy bag. I used this the whole time when I was travelling through Europe on my own for 6 weeks. I always had it full to the brim but it never broke or let me down. I like that the zips clip down so that no one can unzip it when you're not looking. Has a great compartment that fits my water bottle. Felt very secure using this.
