I replaced my old hair steamer with this one, it works well and was easy to assemble in no time. I just don’t like that it doesn’t run a full hour and the top part that covers the head isn’t made to catch the dripping from the steam , I have to use a towel over my shoulders and I keep a small one handy to catch the drips. And the top needs to be made to cover the back as well during steaming.

Doesn’t work as described. Barely produces steam, gets really hot at the crown of your head and drips scolding hot water.

The steamer produces a lot of steam. Easy to put together and easy to work. So far so good.

Takes awhile to warm up, also if using for back to back clients/services, sometimes i noticed that it would need to be turned off and then on again and rechecked for it to warm. That’s my only complaint, I’m using it in a Salon setting.

I was so excited to try it

I never write a review, but feel it could help another stylist out when deciding which steamer to buy. This steamer replaces my old one, which had a broken knob. A couple of things that is worth mentioning: The refill cup in which to pour distilled water is small, so water must be poured slowly or you will have a wet mess on the floor. I used a gallon jug, but will have to find a smaller unit to pour with. I will adjust my method. There is no way to get water back out if you've gone over the maximum fill line. and it will not begin to work. (I stood with a straw with my finger on top dip after dip, to get the water level down.) Also, it only has one setting for steam, and does drip as steam escapes after about 15 minutes. It does not "ding" when shutting off, so be sure to set another timer if you're not watching as it quits.It is quiet, and looks nice. I just wish it had a low setting and timer that signals shut off audibly. I use this to process hair color in my salon. If it were easy to return, I probably would. Regretting this purchase.
