Works great for crushing and splitting.

It can cut but the size it can crush are small pills only since it is too small for the threads. Solution is to cut the big pills to very small sizes so parts can fit to be squeezed at a time.Buy one that is deeper so bigger pills can be crushed. Plastic thread is low quality and easy to destroy.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to use and super straight forward. I have to give my dog medication 3 times a day and this pill crushes has not failed me yet. The pill cutter is not dull (I cut my finger on it once buyer beware) and the crushes is very simple to use. The more you grind the finer it gets.

This pill cutter is very cheaply made; I am returning them because any pill bigger than an aspirin will not be crushed. The depth of the holder is not deep enough to accommodate the normal size tylenol oblong size pills. If you have small round pills then the crush MAY work. Not worth the purchase.

This pill cutter also stores and grinds pills. The cutter in the top compartment seems functional. The second level is divided storage for pills. You must pry the top section off to access it. This puts stress on the hinge in the top section which will eventually affect the ability to cut pills. The bottom section is for grinding pills and this is accomplished by twisting the second section. It is just molded hard plastic and may not hold up after much use. It is okay but I think I prefer the old fashioned pill cutter.

These come sealed in an outer plastic pouch, and each pill cutter & grinder is packed inside its own box.I’ve had my share of pill cutters, but this one is innovative…It cuts,You can store a cut pill in the top if you want to,You can unscrew the bottom & use it as an on-the-go water cup,Or if you want to powder your pill, place it in the bottom & screw it tight to crush it.I tested the cutter, it is typical — harder pills will crumble & you need to get a feel for where the middle is, but that’s how these work.One nice feature is the cutting (& storage) platform is pretty large.You should be able to work in larger sized pills & store the half or quarters you aren’t taking for now.The grinder also worked remarkably well.And since it’s plastic & not metal teeth (ala a spice grinder) cleanup is a breeze.I like this, and I’d lean toward using this rather than my old style units.

1st - the crushing space is too shallow for the horse pills I’m trying to crush. Next, the threading is too loose so it slips out and starts stripping plastic into your medication. Lastly, the compartments are also very loose. I can not recommend this product.
