Well made better than you usually get
Positives: It’s sturdy, it looks good and whilst you can buy cheaper they’re not as well made. The length and width of the trough is ideal for canes for peas or sweet peas depending on how you want to use it.Negatives: You see the odd criticism that some are not perfectly square to the ground. That was true for ours, it was a bit out, but not much. It would be easy to correct but frankly it’s going on uneven ground in the garden so who cares. And I have seen the same thing in garden centres. It arrived on time, assembled and boxed. We are buying another one is the best recommendation I can give.

Really like this. Looks great when planted up. Would buy again.
Arrived faster than expected and fully assembled. Solid. Got weight. Big enough for three decent sized plants and some smaller ones and looks good alone so you don't feel you need two of them. Colour is sort of honey to my eyes. At a shade less than 40 pounds delivered seems decent value. OK. have seen similar for 30 pounds in local garden centres but they are smaller and shallower and just one would look lost. This one stands out a bit without breaking the bank.

Value for money.
A wooden garden trough of excellent dimensions, but would of preferred the trough to have bars on the base instead of short legs, as this would make the trough suitable for both solid ground and gravel siting, as the legs would not sink in to either. this item was required for siting on gravel so I had to use four blocks to put in the gravel to keep the airflow and drainage underneath and to make the trough sit up proud. The trough arrived very quickly indeed, there is no need for assembly, it is made very well but this trough had a slight twist across the corners along the length, fortunately being sited on gravel I could over come tis issue but if it was being used on solid ground it would of had to be returned for replacement. The trough, bar the twist is of very good quality and value for money.Prior to planting the trough I painted it both inside and out with two coats of Cuprinol garden décor paint to the colour desired, the paint went on really well and it looks great, I then lined the trough with a strong black plastic sheet, cut slits for drainage and then two inches of gravel, then filled and planted the trough, the result is excellent, with all good comments from neighbours. If you want a good value for money wooden trough this is the one to purchase, it would of got five stars iif it had not of had the twist across the corners.

Well made, ready assembled and cheaper than others you have to self-assemble!
These planters are great. I did a lot of research and saw many that had to be self-assembled and very bad reviews about how they fit together. So to get these ready assembled and cheaper than the ones you had to self-assemble was a bonus. They were delivered straight to my door well-packed and were so easy to put in place, fitting exactly where I needed them. Great product!

Sturdy wooden trough planter
Nice looking sturdy plant trough. It would have been handy if there had been some drainage holes pre-drilled in the bottom. We’ve lined ours with black heavy duty PVC lined up with the drainage holes we put in. The trough certainly looks nice and takes a good number of plants. Time will tell how long it lasts.

Good quality planter
A good quality planter which is been used to grow herbs. Much lighter than expected. Did not use liner as the slats on the bottom have a gap between for drainage. Hence as long as don’t over water wood should be fine. Number of different herbs, eight at four plants each. Probably too many so may buy another and grow 4 varieties per planter. Now have three of these, between 2 and 3 yrs old, no problems with them. Just recently Restained the wood and look just as good as new.

Well made!!!
Nice product, sturdy and looks well put together. Nice colour which is a light tan, honey type colour matches our fences quite well. Would have preferred it a little longer but it does the job for my herbs and veg. Packaging and delivery were good.
