I only bought this because the one I wanted directly from Samsung was out of stock. This was only meant to be temporary. And after installing it, it most definitely will be. It's not my first time putting a film shield on a phone. But, this has to be one of the worst installations. It picked up little pieces of lint and the squeegee did a poor job of removing air bubbles. So until I get the one I want or something better, because there has to be better than this, I will leave it on my phone.

The instructions starting with Step 6, are completely unclear. I ruined the protective screen (which is cheap plastic and not glass) and threw it in the garbage. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I bought this because it said tempered glass & install in 2 easy steps. No. It's a film, & takes 8 steps to get it on perfectly. If you mess up, that's it.. all done. And I messed up cause I didn't line it up perfectly & tried to reapply. 😭 Put my other one back on.

Worst screen protector I have ever used. End result was horrible.

I have been using this product for less than 5 months, and I am not impressed. Like others have stated, it is a polymer film, not tempered glass. I didn't have an issue with application, but I could definitely see how others might. Unfortunately, even with as close to perfect installation as I had, the product is subpar. Easily scratches/tears, even minimal drops/falls. It's hard to photograph, but in addition to the tearing/cracks around the edges (where screen protectors tend to wear-out first), there are many tears/scratches/holes all over the screen. I am pretty gentle with my phone, so it seems this is more the fault of a flawed product than a user issue. I reached out to Case-Mate's customer service and the product can be covered under warranty... but they want me to pay $7 for shipping. Thanks, but no thanks. Save your money.
