I bought these to wear under dresses and skirts for the summer. I ordered an XL for a size 14-16. I have a small waist in proportion to my hips and thighs so I was a bit concerned as to whether these would stay up. They looked really small but when I tried them on the stretch was very good. I wore them on holiday as shorts! Not only did they prevent chafing, they stayed in place, felt extremely comfortable and were not too transparent but light enough to wear in the heat. I will definitely buy a few more.

I am a size 14, 5ft 7. I ordered the Large (12 to 14). They looked small when I opened the package but they actually were a great fit. Nice leg length. Felt silky and very comfortable, held up well around the waist so no falling down. I got the beige, perfect nude colour for under slightly see through dresses. Very happy and I will be ordering more. I love, love, loved these chub rub shorts. The material is lovely & silky so absolutely no thigh rubbing at all and makes wearing dresses a pleasure, even on holiday in a hot country. My only complaint is that I wish they weren't so see-through, but I guess with them being lightweight, you can't have everything.

Good for wearing with dresses. Very light weight. It doesn’t have a gusset and I bought these to wear but with no gusset, in the end I didn’t wear them.

These were great under a dress but don't waste your money if your looking for support. I had to purchase the next size down.
