Better then i was expecting!!! Installation took about 1 hour from start to finish. Make sure to clean your window frame first so the tape sticks better. The plastic comes in 1 large piece so it is a 2 person job if you're doing a larger door/window. It works faster if you hold the blow dryer as close as you can, but make sure not to touch the plastic. Start from the top and move in circular motions until the wrinkles are out and then slowly work your way to the bottom of the window. If more wrinkles appear where you already blow dried, just go back over it again. I saw other reviews that said the plastic was full of wrinkles which means they didn't do it right. The window should look see through as if the plastic isn't even on. There is ZERO draft coming through my large front window now. Will definitely help save on my heating bill this winter! Wish I bought it sooner

Best investment for the winter, get one every year. Best price from Amazon. Easy to install. Insulates the house, and reduces noise. As long as you take your time with the install the look will be seamless.

Amazing, the only thing is that when you get to the center of the tape it because less sticky I don’t know why,

looks good so far. Intalled on my patio window for bedroom where the cold air is leaking . The room is less colder now .

Really works my apartment is so much warmer cause of it and it’s easy to install .

It does a great job of keeping the cold out as long as there isn't any wind. I have a REALLY drafty window and this product definitely wasn't the ideal solution for this particular window because the first time it got a little windy after I installed it, the bottom line of tape peeled off my wall. It might have been an installation error like not giving it enough slack before heating, but it held up fine before the wind. Good for the price though.

I use these ever year on all my windows and sliding doors. Saves money from drafts that no longer get in. Easy installation and you can hardly see them.

I have a giant bay window which was developing HEAVY ice inside from condensation. This completely remedied the problem. Stretched tightly and with patient use of a blow dryer, you can't even see that it's there.

I received an aged and beaten up box of this kit - picture attached. This was proven with the double sided tape that would barely stick. Plus after the hair dryer was used to tighten the film, multiple parts of the tape would pull away from the frame, rendering the product useless. Yes, instructions were followed and the I've used similar products before. (In fact on the very same order, the Duck brand kit that was purchased at the same time, that box was fresh and the double sided tape had no such issues , and heat shrinking was easy & perfect ). Amazon US should really be ashamed of themselves.

This product is good enough.

The size is perfect to enclose my small front porch where my dog likes to lie in the sun. It keeps the wind away so the house stays fairly warm and/or cool. Reasonably easy to install given the size of the area covered and the fact that it is shrinkable means that it is almost invisible.

The box was very much damaged upon arrival. However, it's just window insulation so that didn't hurt the contents at all. I put it up and the plastic was so massive I was able to use the excess to cover an air vent and my kitchen window. I've used the product many times in the States & had some mailed to me here in Japan. Always works well for me.

I have used 3M film in the past but these Frost King were on special. I'd say if the windows are not in main view or behind curtains its ok, but if you have a view or the windows are in a prime position then I'd go for 3M film as I'd call that crystal clear, where as the Frost King is clear but not crystal clear. Note I returned my Frost King because there was a manufacturing fault anyway. With the 3M you can't tell its installed unless you look really carefully. When installing any film , use isopropyl alcohol to wipe the frames where the tape will be stuck. Its really important so it removes all grease and any dirt. Don't use a general cleaning spray or window cleaner on the frames. It may look very clean but a cleaner may use oils or other chemicals, and the tape may peel off when under tension . I used isopropyl alcohol to clean the glass too.
