I had another trimmer for years but it took regular batteries. This is rechargeable so that is a very nice option. One thing I can say is that this thing is solid and heavy. It is not going to give you a super close shave as that is not its design. What this will do is trim your beard down to what is called "day-old stubble" or that Don Johnson Miami Vice look.The only downside to this is that to get as close of a shave as you can get, a ton of tiny stubble gets on the head. Yes this does include a tiny brush and it does get it off but you do have to work at it.Other than that, so far no other complaints. I will update my review over time if anything else pops up, positive or negative and my change my overall rating if need be.

I wanted something relatively small and lightweight for travel, without needing a special plug, and this turned out perfect.Pros:- Clean looking black metal construction- Thin and compact- Feels solid, but not too heavy- Quiet/not annoying- Trims smoothly- Comes with ajustement attachments- USB-C (!!)- Inexpensive- Easy to clean- Tactile power button placed where it won't activate in luggageCon:- Unknown reliabilityI was about to pay 120$ for a larger more cumbersome unit before finding this hidden gem. I'm unsure about reliability, but for 30$ I wouldn't even mind buying one every 2 years 🤷‍♂️

After receiving it, I tried it out and shaved my head with the 3mm comb inserted. It works well, nice even shave. I rinsed out the shaver head with water (don’t let water touch the bottom of the shaver handle, where the charging port is) and used its little brush to clean out the blades. Good.The charging was quicker than I expected. The manual claimed 2 hours, but I think it charged in less than an hour. While charging, the indicator light is supposed to flash, and once charged, the indicator light will switch off.Some of the negative 1 star reviews indicated that the service life of this shaver was potentially very short, and that it broke after a short while. I am concerned about this as well, but thus far, it has worked for my first shave. It costs me SGD $35.66 and at the typical haircut price of $8 here, I figure it just needs to last for 5 shaves total to recoup my money. Lolz

Works great. The guards are a little flimsy but I'm not using them. Perfect for an even trim.
