I bought this to use as a spare. I have very curly hair, so I wrap it in rods to make it less curly. (It pulls on my scalp and gets painfully dry otherwise.) And, I use a dryer with a soft hood attachment to dry my hair every night to increase the odds that it will be dry or close to dry in the morning and most mornings for a few minutes if the hair is still damp. I find this helps me to gently bake moisture in and enjoy frizz free. luscious curls. BUT, my sister takes my dryer without asking and then does not return it before I need it, so I bought a spare (for the 2nd time as she took my last one) so that I am not inconvenienced.I tried it today and I LOVE it! It is so much nicer than my usual one. First, my old one was 2000W whereas this one is 1875W, and yet the air flow is amazing and it can get very hot. But, the cool setting (required to not melt the soft hood) is easy to tolerate. So, there is a lot of air flow and decent heat on the Warm, Medium settings.Also, I love how the attachment snaps into place. (Typically, I have to use plumber's tape to make the attachment stay on but still be removable.) And even through the barrel is small and there is a gap around the soft hood hose, there is very little air escaping through there. And, I can tell that the air is hitting all sides of my head at once. The motor is also a bit quieter than my old one. And, I thought my old one was pretty good.So, I couldn't be happier... well, yes I could. My old 'universal' diffuser attachment does not fit this dryer. And, now that I know how great this one is, I will need to find one.But, still, this is one of the best dryers that I can recall every buying. So, I am kinda glad that I decided to combat the borrowing with a backup.

I bought this because I recognized the brand name as electric shavers my dad had. This was a good choice. I've used it for a few months now and it works great. The long cord is great - allows me to not have to be right by the plug.

This blow dryer is a game changer!!! Toss out your diffuser because with this, there's really no need for one! Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because I really don't like where the button switches are at on the handle, I accidentally push them all the time while I'm using it and also one of the attachments (the straightening one) I don't even use. But functionally this thing rocks and does great with my curls. Totally worth it.

Yep the lowest setting has a low motor sound & good amount of air flow and heat. Great for not waking people up while blow drying your hair, great for kids and dogs that don't like high sounds. Can't say its light or compact but will say it does what it supposed to do.

Who designed this hair dryer? Both temperature and on/off buttons are situated in a bad spot. They constantly go off by where you keep your hands.

I like the simple, clean and effective function controls. The unit could be improved with a coiled cord. I also have a suggestion for folks who have this opportunity: If you have a drawer under, between or near the vanity (bathroom sink) install an outlet in the wall behind the drawer, so the hair dryer stays plugged in, close at hand and doesn't need to be moved every time you use it.

Our bathroom has very limited counter space, the texture on this hair dryer is amazing cause it grips the counter and doesn’t slide off easily. My daughter wanted a quieter hair dryer and she is happy with the volume level. The attachments are nice too. It came with stickers that do not stick to the hair dryer so not sure what that’s about. Wouldn’t stick to her water bottle either.
