Purchased for elderly parent to use in upper kitchen cabinet to store important personal items. Small and easy to set up. It has a key option that can be used in place of the battery supported key pad. I went ahead and programmed a new key pad code and it works like a charm. Requires 4 AA batteries to use key pad.Great safe and highly recommend.

I love redundancy! This safe can be operated by code or key. The key hole is well disguised. There is a "master" code as well as user code. It also comes with heavy duty bolts to mount it if you so desire. It is spacious inside and comes with a water proof and fire proof document holder. Good Value and well built

For the price, this is a good product. The key and the electric buttons worked great - and it is super easy to use and I programmed in a 4-digit number. Bolting it to the floor is not a job for an amateur homeowner. The directions are a bit simplified. I got a neighbor who is a mechanic, and he purchased some different bolts and had a powerful drill for cement floors. It took him about an hour of fiddling around. But now it is super secure and I feel much better with my documents being protected. Not sure about its water resistance as we have not had a flood or fire.

Safe does its job but was surprised to find that there is no knob to open the door. Instead you have to pull on the combo dial which is far less convenient. The little LED light inside the door comes on when it's opened which is a nice feature, although it's not very bright.

I like that it can be mounted to the floor or wall for extra security, and it comes with both a digital keypad and backup keys, which gives me peace of mind. The keypad is easy to program, and the beeping sound when entering the code is clear but not too loud.

Safe opened when placed it on bed while i was cleaning up the room.

The plastic lid for the battery compartment was very hard to open. I broke the small retaining bar getting it open. The safe would not work without this lid firmly in place. I had to duct-tape the lid back in place. Made in China, go figure.
