Very helpful ti read along with Spinoza’s Ethics.

This is one of 3 essential books to assist with getting to grips with Spinoza. The 2 others are Stuart Hampshire's introduction and Harry Wolfson's pre WW2 book. Bitter experience has taught me you need a lot of help to unlock the riches of the Ethics. In my view Curley's interpretation ( NOT his translation) is a complete misreading

This really IS the very best introduction to Spinoza's Ethics that you will find. Clear and concise, it reads like a companion guiding you through the Ethics step-by-step. I would combine this with Nadler's 'Spinoza's Ethics: An Introduction' but if you can only afford one, get this! Highly recommended!
