... and I cerainly would not want to swim any great distance wearing them
Fairly uncomfortable to use and I cerainly would not want to swim any great distance wearing them. On the other hand they do help you to develop good technique and it is well worth persevering with them. I certainly intend to keep them in my swim bag because, even if you use them only occasionally, they do stop you from lapsing into bad habits.

Great for technique improvement
I bought this product after using the "PT paddels" from Finnis. the forearm fulcrum is not designed as a strength/power paddel like most avalible. instead by teaching you to lock your wrist in line with your forearm it teaches you to pull with your whole forearm as a paddel therefore increasing the surface area you pull with. i use these in conjunction with the PT paddels and regular hand paddels for my own training and with clients. deffinatly recommend.

Takes time to get use to..
A great addition to my training kit, but be patient as they take some getting used to.

Massive improvement
Fantastic piece of kit. Correctly makes you bend your elbow for the catch part of stroke. Works on all four strokes.

Provokes plenty of discussion in the pool!
I bought these after watching the videos as I want to make sure my front crawl is as efficient as possible. I chose these over paddles as I don't really want resistance work. They fit me fine, but I think many men would struggle with them as they are not that big.It takes a while to get used to them and at first I thought I was splashing around like a non swimmer! However, others in the pool have commented on them and how they make the arm stroke look great.I only use them for a few lengths and feel that I do swim better after using them, but they make my forearms and wrist ache- maybe because I am using different muscles or maybe because it is quite hard to keep them in place unless the wrist is flexed. SO, I am glad that I have tried them, will keep persevering. They do make my stroke seem more efficient but I an undecided if it is due to them or just due to the fact that when I take them off I swim so much better! They are not too pricey so worth considering.
