Great sling. I broke my clavicle and the sling the ER provided was just about useless. This sling holds my arm close to my body, but not too tight. I can sleep in it and even traveled (by car as a passenger, family emergency) 500 miles from home the first week after fracture, just using a pillow for extra support and some muscle relaxants - and everything went fine. Fracture is healing well --- no surgery required - and I give part of the good result to this sling. Just make sure you get the correct size. I have ordered a second one - just to give the first some breathing/airing room since it will be my companion for the next month.

My husband broke his elbow and the sling he got from the urgent care wasn’t great. I ordered this one and he says it’s very comfortable, breathable, and he feels more secure. The ortho doc said it was a great purchase. The Velcro is super strong, it is adjustable, provides the support his arm needs without hurt this back, and he can put it on himself.

I would totally recommend this sling is the cooler seasons! It was very comfortable and easy to put on and take off. The neck strap being soft made this super easy to wear long term. I wish there was less Velcro and maybe another way to adjust things as it snagged at some of my clothes ruining them. Otherwise this was a great sling with a very supportive fit.

Not like the cheap one the hospital sent home. Well padded. The neck pad offers comfort where you want it as it slides along the strap. Very easy to adjust for a perfect fit. As a nurse, I bought this for my husband’s surgery. He loved it.

I purchased this after having little to no pain relief from an intense bursitis flare in my shoulder. I already tried using a standard bought-at-walmart quality sling and suffered from it slipping around, pinching/pressure across my throat, and getting scratched up by the cheap velcro adjusting strap against the skin on my neck. I am not a small person so was a little concerned with the sizing listed on this post, but I discovered that it was more than adequate. The first time I put it on, after a moment of figuring out how the harness needed to be situated and getting my arm into the proper positioning to take the weight off my shoulder, I had astonishingly immediate pain relief. The harness system minimized the stress on my neck, allowing me to relax both shoulders. The strap around my chest was comfortable and effective at immobilizing my shoulder to allow it to rest and heal. I could not use that hand for anything in the mean-time (no typing, weight balance, etc.) but that is the point. And I am a fair snob about quality-to-cost, so I am glad to say I am pleased with the quality of the materials and manufacture. I think it will stand up to long-term use with proper maintenance. I recently bought the Willcom Arm Sling for Shoulder Injury with Waist Strap for my son who broke his collar bone. Although the material is soft and comfortable, I was not impressed with how difficult it was to adjust and get on. The Velcro system can be frustrating because as soon as you pull it apart, it wants to stick to another part. Additionally, the Velcro needs to be pulled to undo, which can be painful for the person wearing it, especially if they have an injury in the collar bone or shoulder area. Overall, I would give the Willcom Arm Sling a 3-star review. While the softness of the material is impressive, the Velcro closure system can be challenging to work with and not very user-friendly, making it a bit uncomfortable for the injured to got on and off. If you're looking for a simple arm sling, this may not be the best option for you.

I loved this sling. I believe that it helped my broken arm heal faster

I broke me elbow so I had a long-arm cast. This was helpful to keep my arm stable and in the right position. This is NOT a good option for shoulder injuries since you have to put it over your head and get your arm into the sling. It does allow you to adjust the length of the strap from behind. I only used it for two weeks and found it so much better than the one provided by the emergency room.

es un poco complicada de colocar las primeras veces, pero con el tiempo te acostumbras y es mega facil, es caliente pero en epoca de frio me funciono muy bien, sujeta el brazo y el hombro muy bien y no deja que se mueva. la calidad del material es buena y los sujetadores de mano y de pulgar son muy utiles para evitar que se recorra el brazo. excelente compra!

This sling is exceptional. perfectly secures arm in good position for proximal humerus fractures; great materials and very well made; comfortable for arm and neck. I have bought another for ease of wearing/laundering for some weeks.

Very good. Fits well and has done the job nicely.

Comfortable, soft and successfully limits motion of your arm and shoulder by holding your arm against your torso. Padded strap over the opposite shoulder makes it more comfortable to wear than some options. Well constructed.
