Uranus and Neptune (Kosmos)

It's fun to read how much new knowledge has been discovered during the recent past, during most readers' lifetimes.The book is short, readable, well-organized, fairly easy to read, and is accompanied by beautiful photos. Really, just what I wanted given my previous lack of background about these two planets.I'm giving the book just 4 stars because it isn't truly a page-turner. There are times when my interest faded reading it, but they didn't last too long.

The writer has made a very concise and interesting book - about time that somebody did this book. I also looked forward to this book. Details and images are just absolutely amazing about these fantastic planets and their moons - these results from both the Voyager probes are very fascinating. Thanks to the writer. A great book.

il libro continua una serie di buona fattura, con prezzi contenuti.niente di nuovo, per un appassionato, ma un utile riepilogo dello stato d'arte della materia.

Gekauft aufgrund einer Rezension aus „Sterne und Weltraum“, wo ich seit ca. 1987 Abonnent bin. Wie beschrieben sehr gut und interessant und auch von mir eine Empfehlung. Hier findet man man wirklich noch „Strange New Worlds“.
