This is a fantastic piece of kit, I was sceptical about its durability and ease of use, having always used a roof box. This roof bag was arguably better than the roof box, the size for storing things is enormous, and with the way it opens was easy to fill. The noise and drag experienced with a roof box is significantly reduced with the bag, and the double layer cover over the zip works well to seal it all shut. The lock that it came with was rubbish, but another was easily placed to keep the contents secure. Overall I am converted, significantly smaller to store when not in use, and great value for money. I am yet to try it in wet or inclement weather so cannot comment on waterproof properties however for the week we used it for, I would definitely recommend this as a great alternative to the traditional roof bars and box.

We can't fault the product itself as it far exceeds the extra room it provided, whilst being quite small when packed into the provided back, it felt secure and also sturdy. However, I can imagine a standard roof box would be much simpler and quicker to pack - something to consider if you are looking for simplicity and speed.

I ordered this roof bag instead of a roof box , for A- cheaper option, and B- as I wanted the ease of removing and storing the bag in the boot. This bag is great quality, easy to install, and comes in a storage bag that easily folds away into the boot/under seat. The zips are all reinforced, and you get a combination padlock. We’ve just got back from 2 weeks touring Scotland, the weather at times was atrocious, but this bag kept everything secure and dry. Well worth the money, and very water tight

Pros: It is absolutely huge! Has a sturdy zip and very strong velcro. The non slip mat is great too. I am so glad I got this. It folds down into a little carry bag which takes up so much less space than a roof box. Did a 5hr trip and it held up well. Checked to make sure everything was still good around half way through the journey. You cannot hear any noise from the bag either when driving at speed. Cons: the straps are quite hard to pull. But this maybe due to it needing to be a tight fit to prevent slipping. (We didnt have issues though). Also, they do leave dents where the metal clips on. Tip: tuck the straps in! The flapping will drive you bonkers on the window 🤣

We looked into getting a proper roof rack/ box, but then found this cheaper option, skeptical at first but honestly was great, kept the stuff dry and safe even at top speed and pouring rain, and over 5 hours of driving, was Easy to use, loads of space, no crazy noise while driving and then easy to store away after use. Brilliant cheaper option. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic, easy to fit, you can get tons of stuff in it and when you get to where your going it comes off and folds neatly away, good strong large zip, and fully water proof, fabulous bit of kit

When opening up you can tell it is thick and should give good water resistance……. Luckily we had no rain so didn’t have chance to test it but judging on the quality I’d say it would be fine. Installation is fairly easy, the clips that go under the door seals are easy to fit but the only thing is the seals won’t fit flush while installed. So I can see why one review said that water ran down the strap and into the car. Drove 30 minutes at 60mph and it didn’t move an inch can’t see why a full motor way journey 1-4 hours would be a problem. It fits lots of luggage in there, we had air beds, paddle board , clothes, camping chairs. If you need extra storage and have no roof rack then I’d say these are a no brainer. It didn’t get 5* simply because of water maybe running down the strap and dripping into the car.

I used this cargo carrier during a camping trip. My car has no trunk space and no roof rack, and I did not have the budget for a hard case carrier. This carrier is heavy duty without being overly bulky and heavy. It was easy to set up, held all of our stuff and kept it safe from rain. I would recommend this product!

Should have bought this sooner. Works awesome and really expands cargo room. Is also rain resistant as we were caught in a downpour and contents remained dry as a bone. Is also very easy to install and remove.

The straps can take some finagling to tighten, other than that it works great

This was the BEST find of the summer. We have a minivan, it worked perfect for it. Holds so much, durable. Would absolutely recommend this.

Pour les commentaires négatif concernante l’étanchéité, je crois qu’il n’étais pas bien installé ou fermé ! Je suis très satisfaite car c’était pour transporter mon matériel de camping. Je suis une femme et j’ai réussi à tout faire seule. Après, c’est très simple à utiliser.
